March 6, 2026—Tañon College, Inc. celebrated both Arts and Career inside the Tañon school gymnasium. The event started with the film festival, following next is the invocation and singing of the national anthem. After everyone has settled their voices, opening remarks came by next.

The program began with the parade of professions, transitioning next to the awarding of arts month activities. Many audience proudly cheered and clapped for their fellow students as they were given with recognitions and awards. Awarding of film festival entries followed—together with loud cheers and applause from the watchers. As the finale of the program comes, awarding of best in professional attire slided up next.

March 2, 2026 — Tañon College, Inc. brought elegance and tradition to life as Grade 9 and Grade 10 students gathered for their Juniors' Ball at the San Carlos City Auditorium, uniting students, faculty, and guests in a celebration of responsibility, camaraderie, and artistry.

The evening opened with the Pasundayag Choir leading the invocation and national anthem, followed by a welcome message from Precious Jennems Mahinay. The significance of the event was delivered by Jhon Dave Nemenzo Bayonon, while the Key of Responsibility was entrusted to Psyche Gwyneth Napuli and Jed Retalla. The Book of Knowledge was presented by Crystal Lyn Dugenio and Shanky Manangacay, and the Class Prophecy was shared by Kristine Anne Dayanan. The Grand Cotillion featured the Candle and Garland Ceremony, a highlight of the night.

Recognition added sparkle to the celebration: Best Female Dress went to Ms. Kylie Tanaman, while Mr. Henz Kevin Arila was named Best Male Dress. Best Couple of the Night was awarded to Ms. Nyza Bargamento and Mr. Christian Bensoy. The evening’s highest honors crowned Ms. Jamaica Diaz as Prom Queen and Mr. Kalylle Barbon as Prom King. Closing remarks were delivered by Novie Pearl Talledo, with Crystal Lyn Dugenio and Josh Devaughn Intienza serving as Masters of Ceremony.

February 20, 2026 — Tañon College Inc. wrapped up Entrepreneurship Week with an electrifying celebration at the school quadrangle.

The crowd was wowed by stunning performances from the Tañon College Dance Crew, Grade 9 – Apollo, and Grade 10 – Aristotle’s fiery showcase. Grade 12’s Mr. Yohan Pasco added a heartfelt touch with his sweet intermission number, while the Senior High School students closed the event with an explosive hip-hop performance.

Feb. 16, 2026 — As part of the National Arts Month celebration, Tañon College Inc. kicked-off the program with vibrant performances at the Tañon College Quadrangle, bringing together students and teachers in a showcase of creativity, culture, and artistic expression.

The morning program opened with a musical showcase from the Pasundayag Choir and the Drum and Lyre Corps, and continued with an energetic presentation by the Pasundayag Dance Company, whose dynamic routine energized the crowd and marked a lively start to the month-long observance.

In the afternoon program, students further demonstrated their talents through a series of competitions that showcased both creativity and cultural appreciation. Grade 10 participants took the stage for a Hip-Hop Competition, while Grade 9 students highlighted tradition and storytelling through a vibrant Festival Dance Competition. Meanwhile, Grade 8 participants presented a Peking Opera performance.

Furthermore, winners of each performance category will be announced on February 27, 2026.

Feb. 13, 2026 — Love, laughter, and vibrant performances filled the evening air as Tañon College Inc. held its much-anticipated Mr. and Ms. Cupid 2026 inside the school gymnasium.

Hosted by master of ceremonies Mr. Kent Cuyagbo and Ms. Claire Bartolome, the event brought students together for an evening of entertainment that celebrated the spirit of Valentine’s Day beyond the morning festivities, beginning with a production number performed by the six competing couples.

The program then transitioned to the talent segment, where contestants from various grade levels demonstrated their creativity and stage presence, followed by preliminary interviews, the presentation of minor awards, and the final question-and-answer round featuring the top three couples.

The much-awaited announcement of winners brought cheers from supporters as the judges revealed the final results: Mr. Christian Angelo Lasco and Ms. Jenalyn Mahinay from Grade 11 was named 2nd Runner-Up, Mr. Vince Jowen Descartin and Ms. Precious Jennems Mahinay from Grade 9 earned the title of 1st Runner-Up, while Mr. Ed Lawrence Basa and Ms. Samarah Lei Rosales from Grade 10 claimed the coveted crown as Mr. and Ms. Cupid 2026.

Moreover, the event concluded with a lively disco party, allowing students, event organizers, and teachers to celebrate the evening’s success and continue the festivities in a joyful and energetic atmosphere.

Feb. 9, 2026 — Streets burst with music, color, and youthful energy as students, teachers, and local officials formally opened the city’s National Arts Month celebration through a vibrant kick-off parade and cultural showcase led by the Schools Division Office in partnership with the Local Government Unit of San Carlos City.

Carrying the theme “Araling Sining: Katotohanan at Galing,” the celebration transformed the city into a living stage for young artists and performers, highlighting the role of arts education in shaping creativity, identity, and community pride.

During the opening program, Education Program Supervisor for MAPEH Bernard M. Laguda welcomed the participants and underscored the importance of arts in nurturing students’ talents and creative expression. The audience was then treated to a dynamic cultural dance performance by the Pinta Flores Dance Company, the city’s official dance group.

San Carlos City Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo reaffirmed the city government’s support for initiatives that promote arts and culture among the youth. Meanwhile, OIC-Schools Division Superintendent Ma. Teresa P. Geroso, CESO VI, delivered an inspirational message, emphasizing that “art and culture form together, and they form the identity of our nation.”

The spotlight later shifted to student performers during the Inter-School Skill Competition, which featured Pop Song for elementary learners and Pop Dance for secondary students. Contestants showcased their vocal skills, choreography, and stage presence, drawing loud cheers from the crowd.

Moreover, the opening celebration also included an Art Exhibit and Pottery Painting activity in the afternoon held at City Mall, where learners explored visual arts and expressed their creativity through colors and designs.

Dec. 9, 2025 — Organized by the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO), the "Walk the City: Creatives, MESMEs, and Advocates" event brought together a lively mix of activities—including an MSME showcase, mural and chalk art competitions, cosplay parades, street dancing, body painting, a tattoo expo, and street jam sessions.

Eight secondary schools proudly represented the youth sector in the Street Chalk Art Competition and Mural Art Painting, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork. Julio Ledesma National High School claimed 1st place in the chalk art category, followed by Colegio de Santo Tomas–Recoletos (2nd place) and Colegio de Santa Rita de San Carlos Inc. (3rd place).

LEDIPO Officer Ma. Novah Sollesta emphasized that the activity forms part of the city’s Lunsod Lunsad Project and Vamos Green Creatives and Innovation Hub, aiming to cultivate creativity, promote local talent, and strengthen community pride through dynamic collaborations among artists, entrepreneurs, and young participants.

The event concluded with city officials and partner agencies awarding certificates to all winners and participants, capping the day with cheers, recognition, and a shared sense of pride for the flourishing creativity of San Carlos City’s youth.

November 21, 2025 — Tañon College, Inc. turned its gymnasium into a Disney-inspired kingdom of stories and wonder as it wrapped up Book Week 2025, filling the space with color, creativity, and performances that brought beloved characters to life.

The program featured a showcase of student and teacher talents and a Disney-themed costume parade. During the awarding ceremony, winners from various competitions were honored, including Best in Costume awardees Shamcey Alfajora (female category), Josh Devaughn Intienza (male category), and Mr. Cornelio Diano (teacher category). Champions in academic contests were also recognized: Jairus Palaubsanon and Elvie Concepcion for the Spelling Bee, Mary Claire Bartolome for Impromptu Speech, Jan Rhendel Sotes for Essay Writing, and Avie Compacion for Poster Making.

The celebration closed with a performance of “Golden” by the Pasundayag Choir, followed by the closing remarks and the presentation of appreciation certificates to The Lighthouse, English Society, and the Pasundayag Choir for their contributions to Book Week 2025.

October 30, 2025 — Tañon College faculty and students came together to celebrate United Nations Day at the School Gymnasium.

The celebration went beyond wearing cultural attire — it aimed to teach the true essence of the United Nations: to support, care for, and love every nation and its people.

The event fostered a sense of unity and appreciation for cultural diversity, reminding everyone that the UN stands not only as an organization but as a symbol of respect, dignity, and global harmony.
