In the midst of the ongoing typhoon, the 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 – 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐏𝐒𝐔-𝐅𝐒𝐆) is actively monitoring the situation of our students across all campuses. We are calling on 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐏𝐒𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐒𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌. This initiative aims to gather vital information regarding the current situation, concerns, and immediate needs of our students so that we can coordinate with the University Administration, concerned offices, appropriate government agencies, and other relevant organizations for possible assistance and appropriate response.

Through your response, the PSU-FSG will be able to identify PSUnians who may be in need of assistance, determine the most urgent concerns and needs of affected students, consolidate student situations across campuses, and facilitate proper coordination and referral to the appropriate offices and agencies. Ngayong Agosto 31, ginugunita natin ang Pambansang Araw ng mga Bayani, isang araw upang parangalan ang mga Pilipinong nag-alay ng kanilang tapang, talino, panahon, at buhay para sa kalayaan at kinabukasan ng ating bayan.

Hindi lamang sa mga pahina ng kasaysayan matatagpuan ang kabayanihan. Makikita rin ito sa mga ordinaryong Pilipinong patuloy na tumutulong, naglilingkod, at naninindigan para sa kapwa at sa bayan. Ang kanilang mga sakripisyo ay nagsisilbing paalala na ang pagiging bayani ay hindi nasusukat sa pangalan, kundi sa mabuting layunin at pagkilos para sa nakararami.

Sa bawat PSUnian: Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon ang mga bayani upang gamitin natin ang ating kaalaman, kakayahan, at pagkakataon sa makabuluhang paglilingkod. Sa ating pag-aaral, pakikilahok, at paglilingkod sa komunidad, maipagpapatuloy natin ang diwa ng kabayanihan sa ating sariling panahon.

Ang kabayanihan ay hindi lamang bahagi ng nakaraan—ito ay pananagutang maaari nating isabuhay sa kasalukuyan.

Bilang pakikiisa sa pagdiriwang ng pagkakaisa sa rehiyon, pagkakaiba-iba ng kultura, at sama-samang pag-unlad, nagtipon ang komunidad ng Pangasinan State University (PSU) para sa 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 na may temang “Navigating Our Future, Together.”

Idinaos ang pagdiriwang noong 𝐀𝐠𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 sa Audio-Visual Room (AVR), na dinaluhan ng mga opisyal ng unibersidad, mga g**o at kawani, at mga lider-estudyante mula sa mga kinikilalang organisasyong pangmag-aaral sa kampus.

Sinimulan ang programa sa pamamagitan ng Opening Message ni 𝐃𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐳, Tagapag-Ugnay ng Ugnayang Pandaigdig, na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa at pagkakaroon ng iisang adhikain tungo sa mas matatag na kinabukasan.

Sinundan ito ng mga mensaheng nagbibigay-inspirasyon mula kina 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐲 𝐋. 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬, Dekana ng Kolehiyo ng Edukasyong Pangg**o; 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐃. 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬, Dekana ng Kolehiyo ng Hospitality Management, Business Administration at Computing; 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐫 𝐄. 𝐆𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧, Dekana, Kolehiyo ng Agribusiness Management, na ang mensahe ay inihatid ni 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐧, Continuing Professional Development Director, at ni 𝐆. 𝐆𝐥𝐞𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨 Administrative Officer V.

Nagbigay rin ng mensahe si 𝐃𝐫. 𝐆𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐌. 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐨𝐧, Ehekutibong Direktor ng Kampus, na binigyang-diin ang pagkakatulad, pagkakaugnay, at pagkakaisa ng mga bansang kasapi ng ASEAN sa kabila ng kanilang pagkakaiba-iba sa kultura.

Matapos nito, ipinakilala ni 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐣𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐬, Tagapangulo ng Departamento ng Information Technology, ang panauhing tagapagsalita na si 𝐃𝐫. 𝐁𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐳, bagong talagang Dekano ng Tanggapan ng Student Services and Alumni Affairs. Sa kanyang mensahe, binigyang-diin niya ang kahalagahan ng pagkakaisa, aktibong pakikilahok, at sama-samang pananagutan sa paghubog ng mas matatag at magkakaugnay na komunidad ng ASEAN.

Tampok din sa pagdiriwang ang pagkilala sa mga nagpakitang-gilas sa Best ASEAN Attire Competition, na nagbigay-diin sa pagkamalikhain at pagpapahalaga sa mayamang kultura ng Timog-Silangang Asya. Kabilang sa mga nagwagi sina Ma’am Queenie para sa Non-Teaching Personnel, Ma’am Mhyles para sa Teaching Personnel, at Raizen ng PFC para sa Student Category.

Sa pagtatapos ng programa, nagbigay-diin sa mensahe ng pagkakaisa, pagpapahalaga sa kultura, at sama-samang pananagutan si
𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐞𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐨𝐧, Tagapangulo ng Departamento ng General Education.

Naging higit na makabuluhan ang pagtatapos ng programa nang sama-samang awitin ng buong komunidad ng PSU ang ASEAN Hymn. Ang nagkakaisang tinig ng mga PSUnian ay nagsilbing makapangyarihang simbolo ng pagkakaisa at pagmamalaki—isang paalala na sa kabila ng ating magkakaibang kultura at pinagmulan, nananatili tayong magkakaugnay sa iisang mithiin para sa kooperasyon, pagkakaibigan, at mas maliwanag na kinabukasan.

Sa pakikiisa ng PSU sa buong komunidad ng ASEAN, nawa’y patuloy na maging inspirasyon ang pagdiriwang na ito sa bawat PSUnian upang yakapin ang pagkakaiba-iba ng kultura, palakasin ang pamumuno, at bumuo ng makabuluhang ugnayan sa kabila ng mga hangganan.

Sama-sama nating tunton ang ating kinabukasan—nagkakaisa, matatag, at handang umunlad bilang isang komunidad ng ASEAN. 🌏✨
