The Good and the Great Teacher
by rado gatchalian
05 Oct 2012

A good teacher instructs, a great teacher inspires;
A good teacher speaks, a great teacher listens;
A good teacher thinks, a great teacher acts;
A good teacher disciplines, a great teacher encourages;
A good teacher is always right; a great teacher accepts his errors;
A good teacher leads, a great teacher serves;
A good teacher uses a classroom; a great teacher uses the street;
A good teacher writes on blackboard, a great teacher writes on the floor;
A good teacher lives with his students, a great teacher lives among his people;
A good teacher is full of ideas, a great teacher practices what he preaches;
A good teacher keeps on teaching, a great teacher keeps on studying;
A good teacher wants change, a great teacher makes change;
A good teacher knows others, a great teacher knows himself;
A good teacher is knowledgeable, a great teacher is wise;
A good teacher enumerates all his accomplishments, a great teacher is talented yet humble;
A good teacher tells what to do, a great teacher asks his students what to do;
A good teacher obeys the rules, a great teacher explores and innovates;
A good teacher receives great honor, a great teacher gives honors to others;
A good teacher is full of goals, a great teacher is full of passion;
A good teacher is respected by his students and colleagues, a great teacher respects others;
A good teacher smiles, a great teacher laughs;
A good teacher is blessed, a great teacher is a blessing;
A good teacher teaches, a great teacher lives.

"HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY TO ALL TEACHERS - BOTH TEACHERS FROM SCHOOL AND TEACHERS OF LIFE!"
