Value focus: TRUST

Trust is the belief or confidence that someone or something is reliable, honest, and will do what they say they will. It's when you feel safe relying on someone, knowing they won't let you down. Trust is important in relationships, friendships, and teamwork, because it helps people work together and support each other.

Value Focus: Perseverance

Bible Verse for the Week:
James 5:11
As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.

During the flag ceremony, Mrs. Clarifel Poquiz Galsim led a reflection on perseverance as the value focus for the week. She shared the Bible verse James 5:11, reminding everyone that those who endure hardship are considered blessed. By drawing inspiration from the perseverance of Job, she emphasized how the Lord’s compassion and mercy ultimately brought about transformation and blessings. The discussion highlighted the importance of staying steadfast in faith and effort, especially in the face of challenges, as these moments can lead to growth and eventual success.
