Suspending face-to-face classes in ALL LEVELS in PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS in the City of San Carlos, Pangasinan on August 10, 2026, Monday, due to inclement weather condition and threat of persistent rainfall strengthened by 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗼𝗻 (𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘁).

Schools are also encouraged to adopt other learning modalities and work arrangements to ensure learning continuity while ensuring safety of both learners and teaching and non-teaching personnel.

Please be informed that the Active Shooter Simulation Exercise originally scheduled on August 14, 2026 has been POSTPONED until further notice.

A new schedule will be announced once it has been finalized.

Due to the continuing threat posed by persistent rainfall brought about by the Low Pressure Area (LPA), which has the potential to develop into Tropical Depression "Maymay," face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools shall remain suspended on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. This decision is based on the latest weather forecast and the 24-hour Rainfall Advisory issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Schools are encouraged to implement appropriate alternative learning modalities and work arrangements to ensure learning continuity while safeguarding the safety and well-being of learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff.

Bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagpapaigting ng kaligtasan at kahandaan ng ating komunidad, ang Virgen Milagrosa University Foundation, Inc. (VMUF), sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa San Carlos City Police Station (PNP), ay magsasagawa ng Simulasyon ng Active Shooter sa Biyernes, Agosto 14, 2026, sa loob ng VMUF kampus.

⚠️ Mahalagang Paalala: Kung makarinig ng malalakas na putok, sirena, o makakita ng mga pulis, sasakyang pang-emergency, at mga response team sa loob ng kampus, huwag po kayong mabahala. Ito ay isang simulasyon lamang at HINDI isang aktwal na emerhensiya.

Hinihikayat ang lahat na manatiling kalmado, makipagtulungan sa mga awtoridad, at sundin ang mga tagubilin ng Emergency Response Team, Safety Officers, Security Personnel, at ng Philippine National Police sa buong panahon ng pagsasanay.
