Pursuant to Memorandum Circular no. 129 issued by the Office of the President directing Government Offices to implement alternative work arrangements while agencies/offices involved in delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations.

Furthermore, face-to-face classes in all levels in Public and Private Schools are hereby suspended on August 19, 2026, Wednesday enjoining all affected institutions to adopt other learning modalities to ensure learning continuity while ensuring safety of both learners and teaching and non-teaching personnel.

📚 DISTANCE LEARNING AT PANGALANGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

On August 20, 2026, Leopoldo M. Samera, Principal III, and Apolinario A. Rsoario, HT-III, led the conduct of Distance Learning at Pangalangan Elementary School, together with the dedicated PES Teaching Personnel.

The implementation of distance learning was carried out following the suspension of face-to-face classes pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, issued by the Office of the President, directing government offices to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements, while agencies and offices involved in delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations.

In response, affected schools are enjoined to adopt appropriate alternative learning modalities to ensure the continuity of learning while giving utmost priority to the safety and well-being of learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel.

Despite the challenges, the PES teaching personnel remain committed to providing meaningful and continuous learning opportunities for every learner. 💙📖

Furthermore, face-to-face classes in public and private schools are hereby suspended on 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆) enjoining all affected schools to adopt appropriate 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 to ensure continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel.

Likewise, an 𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 shall be implemented in the city government. Offices involved in the delivery of basic and health services, as well as disaster preparedness and response, such as the 𝗖𝗗𝗥𝗥𝗠𝗢, 𝗖𝗛𝗢, 𝗖𝗦𝗪𝗗𝗢, 𝗖𝗚𝗦𝗢, 𝗖𝗘𝗢, 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗥𝗢, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗢, shall continue their operations. Other vital offices, including but not limited to the 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘆, 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀, shall adopt a 𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 to ensure the continuous delivery of essential government services. 🌧️ DISTANCE LEARNING IMPLEMENTED AT PANGALANGAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

In response to the inclement weather conditions and the threat of heavy rainfall brought by the Enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), Pangalangan Elementary School implemented Distance Learning on August 11, 2026, prioritizing the safety and well-being of all learners and school personnel.

The conduct of distance learning was led by Mr. Leopoldo M. Samera, Principal III, together with Mr. Apolinario A. Rosario, Head Teacher III, who ensured the continuity of teaching and learning despite the challenging weather conditions.

Through the commitment and cooperation of our teachers, learners, and parents, education continues beyond the four walls of the classroom. 📚🏠

Samera. Pincipal III, and Mr. Apolinario A. Rosario, HT-III,will implement Distance Learning on August 10, 2026 to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners and school personnel.

Learners are advised to continue their lessons and accomplish the learning activities provided by their teachers through the appropriate distance learning modalities.
