DAY 2 | FINAL DAY OF THE QNHS
SCHOOL-BASED IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS 2026 📚

And just like that, we have reached the 2nd and final day of Quezon National High School School-Based In-Service Training for Teachers 2026! 🎉

The second day was filled with meaningful discussions, practical learning, and inspiring moments that strengthened our commitment to becoming more effective educators.

📝 CRAFTING AND DESIGNING CLASSROOM-BASED ASSESSMENT

Our School Principal, Mam Mariza Mag-aso Villasor, led an insightful session on Crafting and Designing the Classroom-Based Assessment.

The discussion reminded us that assessment is more than simply giving tests—it is about creating meaningful opportunities to measure and support our learners’ understanding and progress.

📊 PISA-LIKE TEST QUESTIONS

We were also guided by Mam Nelia D. Gutierrez, Teacher-in-Charge of Quezon Farm School, as she shared valuable insights on crafting PISA-like test questions.

Her session challenged us to think beyond recall and develop assessment questions that encourage our learners to analyze, apply, reason, and solve real-life problems.

🎓 TEACHING DEMONSTRATION

The learning continued through an engaging Teaching Demonstration by Mam Rosalie Mara-mara, giving us an opportunity to see how strategies and concepts can be translated into actual classroom practice.

And, of course, the day would not be complete without our Closing Program—a fitting celebration of two days of learning, collaboration, and shared experiences.

💭 IMPRESSION

The two-day INSET was capped with an inspiring Impression by Sir Roger M. Diaz Ojie Macasib Diaz, who reflected on the experiences, challenges, and valuable learning gained throughout the training. Truly, bisan unsa pa kabug-at ang preparations, workloads, ug responsibilities, worth it ra gyud ang tanan when we learn, grow, and accomplish something together.

🔥 THE CHALLENGE

The learning was followed by a meaningful Challenge from Mam Dinah Laraga-Salmorin, reminding everyone to transform our learning into action and bring these insights into our respective classrooms.

🤝 THE COMMITMENT

Finally, Sir Jordan Arribado led the Commitment, symbolizing our collective promise to apply what we have learned and continue striving for excellence in our teaching practice.

🎤 The closing program was hosted by Sir Estrada, whose energy and presence helped make the culmination more lively and memorable.

DAY 1 | IN-SERVICE TRAINING FOR TEACHERS (TERM I) 📚

The Quezon National High School Family officially embarked on Day 1 of our In-Service Training for Teachers (TERM I) with the theme:
💡 “Illuminating Professional Practice of Teachers through ILAW, Pedagogical Translanguaging, and Meaningful Classroom Assessment.”

The training provided our teachers with meaningful opportunities to deepen their professional knowledge, strengthen classroom practices, and explore innovative approaches that can better respond to the diverse needs of our learners.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our dedicated Learning Facilitators for sharing their expertise, insights, and experiences:
