Pursuant to Memorandum Circular no. 129 issued by the Office of the President directing Government Offices to implement alternative work arrangements while agencies/offices involved in delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations.

Furthermore, face-to-face classes in all levels in Public and Private Schools are hereby suspended on August 19, 2026, Wednesday enjoining all affected institutions to adopt other learning modalities to ensure learning continuity while ensuring safety of both learners and teaching and non-teaching personnel.

The City Government of San Carlos announces the 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄-𝐓𝐎-𝐅𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐒 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬 in the city on 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

This is based on the latest weather information and forecast issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). While the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect Luzon, Pangasinan is not included among the areas under the 50–100 mm heavy rainfall outlook from today until tomorrow noon.

Schools are advised to continue monitoring weather conditions and take appropriate precautionary measures to ensure the safety of learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching personnel.

Parents and guardians are likewise encouraged to remain vigilant and monitor official announcements and weather advisories for any significant changes in weather conditions.
