Coliling National High School proudly recognizes the outstanding winners of the Essay Writing Contest, Open Art Contest, and DAPC Awareness Quiz Bee. This activity highlights our commitment to promoting awareness, creativity, and advocacy against drug abuse.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 𝗜 Our recent Volleyball Tournament wasn’t just about spikes and serves—it was a powerful integration to our Net/Wall Games lesson in MAPEH 8 under Sir Norman Abalos and Sir Pepito D. Reyes Jr. Through this activity, students experienced firsthand teamwork, strategy, coordination, and sportsmanship, making classroom lessons come alive on the court.

Through games and lessons combined, students learned that staying active, working together, and saying no to drugs go hand in hand in building a stronger, healthier community. 💪✨

In commemoration of the 𝑫𝒓𝒖𝒈 𝑨𝒃𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒍 (𝑫𝑨𝑷𝑪) 𝑾𝒆𝒆𝒌 2025, students of Coliling National High School enthusiastically participated in a Zumba activity led by Sir Norman Abalos. This fun and health-promoting activity perfectly aligns with this year’s theme: “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Kalusugan ay Pinapahalagahan, Droga ay Inaayawan.”

Through rhythmic movements and energetic dance steps, students were reminded of the importance of physical fitness, mental wellness, and making healthy choices—choosing exercise and wellness over harmful substances. The activity fostered teamwork, positivity, and an active lifestyle, showing that fun, healthy alternatives can replace the temptation of drugs.

This Zumba session serves as a vibrant reminder that in the new Philippines, health is treasured, and drugs are rejected.

In Coliling National High School, we believe that Drug Abuse Prevention and Control is not just a one-week observance, but a year-round commitment to shaping a healthier and drug-free community 🌿

Through our Gulayan sa Paaralan, led by our dedicated coordinator Sir Jared Soriano and the support of our School Principal Dr. Marites V. Cabatbat and Head Teacher Dr. Valentina Roman, SPTA President, Ma'am Luz Posadas our students work hand in hand to grow nutritious food and develop meaningful habits. This collaborative gardening project serves as a positive outlet and a wholesome alternative to gateway drug involvement—nurturing not only plants but also discipline, teamwork, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 124, series of 2001, the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) leads the annual observance of the Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week, held every third week of November to strengthen public awareness and encourage collective action against the ill effects of drug abuse.

This year’s commemoration will run from 16 to 22 November 2025, carrying the theme:
“Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Kalusugan ay Pinapahalagahan, Droga ay Inaayawan.”
