In the spirit of recognizing passion, excellence, and service to humanity, the search for the next GAWAD JULIAN awardees has OFFICIALLY BEGUN!

💫 How Can You Participate?
If you are 15-30 years old and a bonafide San Carlenian youth, you can join this year’s Search for Outstanding Youths of San Carlos City!
Apllicants shall be nominated by any person from school, organization, church or community and shall submit the following:
- Accomplished Nomination form with 2 x 2 photo;
- Nominee’s Profile with supporting documents and photos from the time of submission of this nomination; and
- A photo collage which shall be posted on the DepEd Tayo Youth Formation- SDO San Carlos City and LGU San Carlos City’s FB Page ( Local Youth Development Office - San Carlos City, Pangasinan and City Information Office San Carlos City Pangasinan).

Nomination/Application Period: February 24 to March 21, 2025
Awarding Ceremony: April 2025 (during San Carlos City Fiesta's Educator's Day)

𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐨 𝐑𝐞𝐡𝐢𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐨: 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬' 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 🌟

From December 16-18, 2024, learner leaders, including Mark Jamester Torio,Kenneth Jay N. Niño ,Janna Dela Cruz, Nicholson Mañago, Ktwelve Abon, and Lee Rowend, and teacher-advisers, such as Ma'am Irene Peralta,Ma'am Janeth F. Padua, and Sir Pepeto De Leon Reyes Jr. from the Schools Division Office of San Carlos City, participated in the 2nd Mangidaulo Rehiyon Uno: Regional Learners' Convergence at Ynad's Place Hotel and Resort, Namtutan, City of San Fernando, La Union. This event aimed to unify advocates of DepEd learner formation in Region 1, fostering collaboration and establishing a robust foundation for the upcoming school year.

The convergence facilitated interactive thematic learning sessions for identified learner leaders, guided by teacher-advisers and division learner formation coordinators from the 14 school divisions of DepEd Region 1. Participants engaged in enriching discussions and activities, gaining refreshed and expansive knowledge in various thematic learning areas, all facilitated by the Learner Formation Division.

Participants are proud of the invaluable insights and experiences gained during this event. Learner leaders, teacher-advisers, and division learner formation coordinators are now better equipped to foster a collaborative and dynamic learning environment for the upcoming school year. Together, we are building a stronger, more unified educational community in Region 1 and beyond! 💪📚
