𝗣𝗮𝗴𝗵𝗶𝘂𝘀𝗮: 𝗔 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆

In this time of great uncertainty, we, the students of Tañon College, call upon our entire community—students, teachers, alumni, staff, parents, and every supporter whose life has been touched by this institution—to come together in faith and unity.

This prayer rally is an independent initiative led by the student body—a heartfelt response born from our desire to stand, not in protest, but in prayerful hope. We are gathering not to divide, but to unite. Not to despair, but to believe.

Let this moment remind us of the strength we hold when we come together—when we raise not just our voices, but also our hearts. We believe in the legacy of Tañon, and in the possibility that, through unity, healing, and faith, we can overcome even the darkest of times.

Maayong adlaw sa tanan!

Sa matag pagsulay, ako nag-awhag nga magpabilin kita nga lig-on taliwala sa paglaum nga ang tanan adunay tubag ug kasulbaran.

Bilang usa ka kanhi estudyante sa Tañon College, nasagmuyo usab ako sa pagsulay nga nahi-aguman karon sa Tañon College, usa sa mga institusyon nga padayong nagtabang sa mga tinun-an ning atong siyudad ug sa mga silingang lungsod aron makab-ot ang hayag nga kaugmaon – ug kini nakatabang usab alang sa ekonomikanhong paglambo sa atong katilingban.

Sa pagkakaron, atong gipaningkamutan pinaagi sa akong buhatan nga padayong nakig-angot sa Commission on Higher Education kon CHED aron makab-ot nato ang solusyon nga hayan mapaambit sa mga mas nagkinahanglan – ang atong mga apektadong tinun-an.

Sa kasamtangan, usa ka panagtigom inubanan sa CHED Region VI ang himoon karong Hulyo 14, 2025 (Lunes), busa atong i-apil sa atong pag-ampo nga makab-ot nato ang maayong tumong sa maong meeting.

Mag-ampo ug magpaabot kita sa resulta sa atong hangyo ug apelar.

Indeed, it is with immense sadness to hear the news about Tañon College, however with our strong faith in God and high hopes, I believe that we are one in this noble appeal to give our Alma Mater a chance to pursue its vision and mission – a living legacy in providing affordable and quality education by its late founder and a former municipal mayor of San Carlos, Eugenio “Nonoy” A. Antonio Jr.

In this time of uncertainty, when the very heart of our institution is being tested, we, the Student Council of Tañon College, stand firm—united and full of hope.

For 73 years, Tañon has not only educated minds but nurtured dreams, built character, and changed lives. It has been a second home to many—especially to those who have no other. And now, as we face the threat of closure, we are reminded of what Tañon truly means to all of us: it is not just a campus, it is a community. A legacy. A family.

We do not deny the pain. We acknowledge the fear and the questions in our hearts. But in the midst of all these, we choose to hope.

Hope that our voices will be heard. Hope that justice and compassion will prevail. Hope that the doors of Tañon will remain open for the generations still to come. This is not the end—it is a call to rise. To unite. To believe in the power of collective action and in the strength of a community that refuses to be broken.

To every student still holding on, to every teacher who has stood by us, to every parent, alumni, and friend who has shown support—thank you. Your hope fuels ours. Your solidarity strengthens our stand.

Let the world see what it means to be Tañonians: resilient, faithful, and united in hope. We are Tañon. We will fight—together. And we will hope—always.

A proud member of the OneTañonian family, a passionate former Student Council Officer, and the devoted Chairman of Sangguniang Kabataan Brgy. VI—Lyncelle was more than her titles. She was a spark of light, a breath of joy, and a force of strength that touched the lives of many.

Lyncelle carried herself with a kind of independence that inspired those around her. Her strong personality didn’t intimidate—it uplifted, it motivated, it showed us the power of standing firm for what you believe in. Her leadership was never just about responsibility; it was about service, compassion, and making a difference no matter how small it seemed.

Her ever-bubbly smile could brighten the dullest days. She had this rare gift of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Beneath her confident presence was a gentle soul with a heart always willing to give, to understand, and to embrace others without judgment.

To know Lyncelle was to know warmth, laughter, and light. And though her time with us feels far too short, the impact she made will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to cross paths with her. In every project she led, every smile she shared, and every life she touched—her memory continues to shine.

Rest in power, Lyncelle. You will always be missed, forever remembered, and deeply loved.
