Ayos Kabataan Awardee & Kabataan Ang Galing Awardee:
TWO PATHS MEET IN ONE CIRCLE
This is the story of BCC Supreme Student Council and its adviser; a story of student leadership, mentorship, service, and a shared purpose that transcends titles.
On one path stand the young leaders of the BCC Supreme Student Council; Mr. Joshua Vergara, Joross Cancino, and Patricia Camille Guazo, whose dedication and collective leadership brought honor to their organization as they were recognized as the Most Outstanding Youth Organization of San Carlos.
On another path walks their adviser, Mr. Alvin C. Pamintuan, whose own journey of service has likewise been marked by recognition. After being named Most Outstanding Youth of San Carlos last year, he has once again brought pride to BCC by being recognized as an Outstanding Youth of Pangasinan.
A circle where experience meets youthful courage.
Where mentorship meets leadership.
Where guidance meets action.
Where service becomes a shared legacy.
BCC Supreme Student Council carried their advocacy forward: Project SACSIโSafe Space Advocacy for Campus Sustainability and Innovation. At its heart, Project SACSI speaks to a simple but powerful belief: every student deserves to feel safe, heard, valued, and empowered.
The project also became a defining moment in the journey of their adviser, Mr. Alvin C. Pamintuan. During the panel interview, Mr. Pamintuan was asked what project he could contribute to help address the growing concern of bullying in schools. His answer was not simply an ideaโit was something already being lived and practiced within BCC: Project SACSI.
This is where the two paths meet. The young leaders bring the courage, creativity, and voice of the new generation. Their adviser brings experience, guidance, and a commitment to nurture those who will lead after him.
The theme of National Youth Day; โDifferent Context, Common Aspirationโ. Comes alive through their story. Their experiences may differ, but their hope remains shared: to build a community where young people are not only given a voice, but are trusted to use that voice to create change.
Their awards are therefore more than recognition. They are milestones along a much greater journeyโa journey where leadership is measured not by the title one carries, but by the people one empowers, the courage one inspires, and the community one helps build.
And perhaps that is what makes their story worth remembering.
Different contexts. Common aspiration.
Two paths. One circle.
One legacy of leadership and service.
