𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀

Today, Turac National High School successfully conducted the 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡-𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙂𝘼𝘿) 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝙎𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙨𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩, bringing together learners and members of the school community to promote awareness, safety, and well-being.

𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻—𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗸𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀.

The activity became an avenue for meaningful discussions as the 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 shared valuable insights on crime prevention, personal safety, and bullying prevention. The discussion emphasized the importance of staying vigilant, understanding one’s responsibilities, and making careful and responsible decisions in different situations.

Meanwhile, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝘆𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗝. 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻 shared essential knowledge about mental health, discussing the signs and symptoms of mental health problems, common mental health disorders, and ways to properly look after one’s mental well-being. His discussion highlighted the importance of recognizing when something may not be okay, understanding mental health concerns, and knowing when and where to seek support.

𝘐𝘯 𝘢 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘨𝘨𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘦𝘯, 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵. 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴, 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘢𝘳, 𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦.

The training served not only as a platform for learning but also as a reminder that creating a safe school community is a shared responsibility. By being informed, observant, compassionate, and willing to seek or offer help, every member of the school community can contribute to an environment where safety and well-being are valued.

‎A simple “𝗞𝘂𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮 𝗸𝗮?”, a patient ear, or a gentle presence can mean more than we realize.

‎Let this month be a reminder to choose compassion over judgment, connection over isolation, and hope over silence.

‎Today, we remember and honor the brave Filipinos who gave so much for our country. They faced challenges with courage, stood for what they believed in, and made sacrifices so that future generations could have a better tomorrow.

𝟭𝟳 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗔𝗚𝗡𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗔 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 💜👩‍🦰

For 17 years, the 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 has stood as a symbol of 𝙚𝙦𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩. It reminds us that every woman deserves to be heard, respected, protected, and given equal opportunities to grow and succeed.

Ngayong Buwan ng Wika, ating ipinagdiriwang ang temang "𝗪𝗶𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗜: 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮 𝗬𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻." Ipiinapaalala nito sa lahat na ang Wikang Filipino ay mananatili sa puso mg bawat Pilipino at ng ating kultura. Sa tulong AI at makabagong teknolohiya, sama-sama nating gamiting at payabungin ang Wikang Filipino upang makalikha ng mas maliwanag, matalino, at makabuluhang kinabukasan.

Today, July 31, Turac National High School successfully conducted the seminar, "𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚, 𝙄𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙂𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧-𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙞-𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙛𝙚 𝙎𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙀𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣," bringing together students, teachers, and members of the school community in pursuit of a common goal: creating an environment where everyone can thrive without fear of discrimination, bullying, or violence.

𝗔 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴—𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱.

The event became an avenue for meaningful discussions as our guest speakers, 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝘆𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗝. 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝘀. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝗮 𝗖. 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴, 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗰 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, shared their knowledge, experiences, and valuable perspectives regarding child protection, responsible behavior, gender sensitivity, and the importance of cultivating a culture of empathy and respect.

𝗡𝗼 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗯𝗲 "𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗺."

Behind every job application is a dream—to earn an honest living, support loved ones, or build a better future. Yet traffickers exploit these dreams through fraudulent online job offers and scam operations that turn hope into fear.

For many women and girls, false promises of work, education, or a better life become the very means by which they are trafficked and subjected to sexual exploitation, forced labor, online exploitation, and other forms of abuse. They deserve opportunities that lead to a better future—not lives marked by violence and exploitation.

As we observe the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀, our call grows stronger: let us ensure that no dream is ever used against those who simply seek a better life. Let us stand together to end all forms of human trafficking.

Together with government agencies, civil society organizations, and communities, the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) will continue working to prevent trafficking, protect survivors, and raise awareness so that no one else falls into the hands of traffickers.
