SCC-Doyong NHS - Barkada Kontra Droga

A productive meeting, consultation, and planning session for Project STRIDE (Strengthening Towards Responsible and Informed Drug-Free Education) was successfully conducted in line with the National Drug Education Program (NDEP) and Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD).

During the session, BKD Adviser Ms. Marie Cris G. Bulatao discussed and presented proposed plans, activities, and strategies for the implementation of Project STRIDE for School Year 2026–2027. The discussion focused on strengthening drug prevention education, raising learners’ awareness of the harmful effects and risks of drug use, promoting positive peer influence, and encouraging students to make responsible and informed choices.

Through collaboration among teachers, learners, stakeholders, and the BKD organization, we aim to create a stronger support system that empowers young people to say NO to drugs and YES to a healthy, responsible, and productive life.

Late na ba kami? No, no, nooo! Hindi pa! Paparating pa lang ang mga officers ng... what?? Syempre ng BKD! HELLOOOO, DNHS!

Alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 9211 (To***co Regulation Act of 2003), Republic Act No. 11900 (Vaporized Ni****ne and Non-Ni****ne Products Regulation Act), at DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012, mahigpit na ipinagbabawal ang paninigarilyo, pagva-v**e, at pagbebenta ng sigarilyo, v**e, at iba pang produktong tabako sa loob at sa loob ng 100 metrong palibot ng lahat ng paaralan.

Ang ating paaralan ay isang ligtas, malusog, at smoke-free learning environment. Ang bawat mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, at stakeholder ay may mahalagang papel sa pagpapanatili ng isang komunidad na malaya sa usok at bisyo.
Ang paninigarilyo at pagva-v**e ay may masamang epekto sa kalusugan. Maaari itong magdulot ng sakit sa baga at puso, makasira sa pag-unlad ng kabataan, at maglagay sa panganib maging ng mga taong nakalalanghap ng usok o v***r. Huwag nating hayaang sirain ng bisyo ang ating mga pangarap at kinabukasan.

Maging matapang sa tamang desisyon.
