𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝟏𝟐 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬

Grade 12 researchers defended their proposed studies during the Research Proposal Presentation and Defense held today, August 20, at Northeastern Integrated School of San Agustin, Inc., where they answered questions from the panel and received recommendations for further revisions.

The researchers presented their research topics, problems, objectives, and proposed methodologies before the panel composed of School Principal Jerry R. Pobre Jr. and Mrs. Sharmaine Corpuz. The panelists raised questions and provided feedback to help the researchers identify areas that required clarification and revision.

The defense allowed the students to demonstrate their research skills, critical-thinking abilities, and understanding of their proposed studies. It also provided them with feedback that will guide them in refining their research before proceeding to the succeeding stages of the research process.

Through the activity, the Grade 12 researchers were encouraged to develop studies that are relevant, feasible, and well-defined.

The Research Proposal Defense supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education), which promotes quality learning and the development of essential skills such as critical thinking, research, and problem-solving.

𝓝𝓘𝓢𝓢𝓐𝓘 𝓛𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓷𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓜𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓣𝓱𝓮𝓲𝓻 𝓜𝓪𝓻𝓴 𝓪𝓽 𝓓𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓽 𝓕𝓮𝓼𝓽𝓲𝓿𝓪𝓵 𝓸𝓯 𝓣𝓪𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓼

With talent, determination, and school pride on full display, students of Northeastern Integrated School of San Agustin, Inc. (NISSAI) took the district stage today, August 17, 2026, at Southeastern Region High School to compete in the District Festival of Talents, showcasing their skills and bringing home notable finishes in various events.

In the Advocacy Pitch, John Paul Santos and Shena Lian Nazaria secured third place, demonstrating their ability to communicate ideas with purpose and conviction.

Alexis Cadenas also earned third place in the PopDev Quiz, showcasing knowledge, focus, and quick thinking.

Meanwhile, Athasha Olani, Mac Ivan Baltazar, and Alexandria Basilio represented NISSAI in Likhawitan, where they showcased their musical talent and creativity on the district stage.

Through their participation and achievements, the students demonstrated not only their individual talents but also their dedication, confidence, and pride in representing NISSAI. Their involvement in the District Festival of Talents provided them with opportunities to express their abilities, gain valuable experience, and develop skills beyond the classroom.

The students’ achievements and participation embody Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for all. Through events such as the District Festival of Talents, NISSAI continues to provide learners with opportunities to develop their talents, strengthen their confidence, and become well-rounded individuals prepared to contribute meaningfully to their community.
