PHINMA St. Jude College Manila and Quezon City's 4th Year Criminology Students recently delved into a crucial seminar on legal rights and safety. They explored Republic Act No. 7877, guarding against sexual harassment, RA 11313: Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law), and RA 11131, enhancing the role of criminologists in the country. 📚💪

A heartfelt thank you to our insightful speakers, Atty. Ghada Boncawil-Tio and Sir Franco Angelo Reyes, RCrim, for enlightening our eager minds. 🗣️

Special appreciation to Dr. Fredda H. Ebanada, CCJE Dean, for her guidance and support at both campuses. 🙌

Sa mga mag-aaral na kasapi ng Criminal Justice Student Council,

Malugod kong ipinapaabot ang pahayag na ito upang ipahayag ang mga kinakailangang impormasyon at hakbang ukol sa pagpili ng mga opisyal ng ating samahan. Sa halip na magkaroon ng eleksyon, napagpasyahan ng Council advisor na si Prop. Franco Angelo Reyes na magtakda ng appointment para sa mga posisyon sa loob ng ating konseho.

Una, nais kong pasalamatan ang mga dating opisyal na naglingkod nang buong dedikasyon at serbisyo. Ang inyong mga kontribusyon ay mahalaga at mahahalata ang inyong malasakit sa ating konseho. Lubos kong pinahahalagahan ang inyong sakripisyo at tagumpay sa inyong pagsisilbi bilang mga kinatawan ng ating mga kasapi, sa pangunguna ng dating pangulo, Ms. Mamaril.

Sa kasalukuyan, ibinibigay ng konseho ang importansya sa pagkakaroon ng botohan at malayang partisipasyon ng mga miyembro ng ating samahan sa pagpili ng mga lider. Gayunpaman, mahalagang banggitin na wala sa mga kasapi o mag-aaral ang nagkusa o nag-initiatibo upang magkaroon ng eleksyon. Ito ay nagresulta sa desisyong magtakda ng appointment para sa mga posisyon ngayong taon.

Sa mga mag-aaral o miyembro ng Council na may mga reklamo o mga katanungan ukol sa proseso ng pagpili, inaanyayahan po kayong dumiretso sa ating Council Adviser. Ang adviser ay handang makinig, tumulong, at magbigay ng linaw ukol sa mga usapin na ito. Ang inyong mga puna at mga hinaing ay mahalaga sa amin at ginagarantiyahan namin na gagawin namin ang nararapat upang masiguro ang integridad at kabutihan ng ating samahan.

Sa pangwakas, nagpapasalamat ako sa inyong pang-unawa at pakikiisa sa mga hakbang na ito. Patuloy sana nating palawakin ang ating samahan at itaguyod ang mga adhikain ng Criminal Justice Student Council. Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon tayo sa isa't isa at patuloy na maglingkod sa ating mga kasapi at komunidad.
