🗳️ 𝙑𝙊𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙍𝙀𝙂𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙍𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉 𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙐𝙈𝙀𝙎 𝙏𝙊𝘿𝘼𝙔!

Following the 10-day voter registration period held from August 1 to August 10, 2025, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) resumed its nationwide voter registration from October 20, 2025, until May 18, 2026.

This decision comes after President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. signed Republic Act No. 12232, which adjusts the term of Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials from three years to four years. As a result, the Barangay and SK Elections (BSKE) originally scheduled before December 1, 2025, have been postponed to November 2026. 📜

Under this new law, Barangay officials may still serve for up to three consecutive terms, while Sangguniang Kabataan officials are limited to one term.
