We are now Open, FOP Research Expo 2026. Visit the Research Poster Display at the Main Building lobby. Featuring 30 Research outputs of our students from the Department of Pharmacy, Department of Medical Technology and the Department of Biochemistry. The Activity will be from April 21 - 25, 2026. Oral Research Presentation will be on April 23, Thursday.

The UST Faculty of Pharmacy, through the Department of Biochemistry, invites members of the academic community to the Research Expo 2026.
This event will showcase student research across Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Biochemistry, and the Doctor of Pharmacy programs. It aims to provide a platform for presenting evidence-based studies, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and support the exchange of ideas in health and biomedical sciences.

The University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Pharmacy, in coordination with the Department of Biochemistry, is pleased to announce the upcoming Research Expo 2026, themed "Frontiers: Pushing Boundaries and Discoveries in Health Science." This week-long event, scheduled for April 20–25, 2026, at the University of Santo Tomas campus, serves as a premier academic platform designed to showcase the excellence and rigor of our research community. We cordially invite all academic staff and students from the Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Biochemistry, and Doctor of Pharmacy programs to participate and contribute to this significant scholarly exchange.
In line with our commitment to fostering innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration, the Faculty is now officially opening the call for both Oral and Poster Presentations. This event offers a unique opportunity for researchers to present evidence-based studies that address emerging challenges in healthcare and the biomedical sciences. By engaging in critical evaluation and scholarly discussion, participants will not only highlight their individual research achievements but also contribute to the collective advancement of the health sciences within the Thomasian community.
We encourage all eligible faculty members and students to prepare their submissions in accordance with the university's standards of excellence. Detailed guidelines regarding abstract formats, submission deadlines, and the formal registration process will be disseminated through official academic unit channels. In the latest edition of SCIMAGO Institutions Rankings, the University joins government agencies as well as state and private universities, ranking #5 country-wide.
By subject area, the research outputs, innovations, and societal impact, the University leads in Chemistry and Pharmacology, Toxicology, and Pharmaceutics. It also ranked high in various disciplines, such as agricultural and biological sciences; biochemistry, genetics, and molecular biology; and medicine.
