Farming is an important job in the Philippines because it contributes to the country's food supply: rice. Rice is the Filipinos' staple food, which represents the abolition of famine in a household, demonstrating that farming should be prioritized because rice farmers provide the Filipinos with the most basic food needs.
Rodrigo Roa Duterte even declared it himself that “Philippine Agriculture is the backbone of the Economy. It forms the basis for food and nutrition security and provides raw materials for industrialization.“🌽
“But why is the country’s lifeblood, the poorest and the most underserved industry in the whole economy?”🤔
📌Help support the local rice farmers of Malolos, Bulacan because by supporting local farmers gives more money to continue and grow crops and livelihood; selling healthy, fresh, and naturally grown produce. The team will provide people with knowledge in different varieties of the country’s rice produced products that will lessen the imports of rice in the Philippines.
