During the campaign moratorium, it shall be unlawful for officers, members, and candidates of all political parties, independent candidates, and incumbent SC officers to:

-- post or upload new campaign materials and other election-related materials (posters, videos, DP, cover page, reels, stories, etc.), AND
-- to share, re-share, like, react, and/or comment on any published campaign materials and other election-related materials online.

They are also not allowed to hold any Election Campaign activities as stated in the Art. VIII of the UESC Election Code.

Let us adhere to the UESC Election Code and the Guidelines for Online Campaigning.

All candidates, members, and officers of all political parties and independent candidates are expected to be good role models for their fellow students. They must exemplify UE STUDENT LEADERS with ethical and moral values, professionalism, and integrity.

𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐌𝐀, 𝐈𝐊𝐀𝐖 𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐀𝐋𝐎 𝐊𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐆 𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐈 𝐊𝐀 𝐁𝐔𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐎!

Onsite UE Manila students may vote anytime between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. using their smartphone/laptop/gadget OR they can visit any official voting precincts (LB 906 and LB 908) on the 9th floor of the Lualhati Building.

Dentistry students can also vote using their personal devices OR they can visit the Satellite Polling Precinct established at the Guidance Center on the Mezzanine floor of the UE Annex building.

Election results will be announced at the SFC Quadrangle after the election period.

𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | Adjusted Campaign Moratorium

The Dean of the UE College of Dentistry allowed the Ang Sandigan and Kaisa Ka candidates for the University Student Council to campaign on May 3 (𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘈𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘭 26) between 12:15 and 12:45 PM at the Student Lounge, 4th floor, UE Annex Building.

Hence, instead of May 3, the 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐆𝐍 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐔𝐌 𝐈𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐓 𝐎𝐍 𝐌𝐀𝐘 𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒.

The UESC Town Hall Presidential Debates (Miting-de-Avance) will push through tomorrow, April 30 (Tuesday) at 1:00 PM.

For the first time, the debates will be conducted in Hybrid. Presidential bets are required to be inside the improvised COMELEC studio during their debate proper while the audience can watch the live airing and engage on this page.

With the recent announcement of the University to convert onsite classes to online synchronous on April 24-25 due to the forecasted danger of heat index in Metro Manila, the COMELEC en Banc moves the onsite conduct of the UESC Town Hall Presidential Debates (Miting-de-Avance) on April 30 (Tuesday).

The movement of the MDA date will also cause the adjustment of the election date and campaign moratorium hence, the COMELEC en Banc, as stated in the above-mentioned resolution, moves the election day on May 6, 2024 (Monday) and the Campaign Moratorium on May 3 (Friday).

Moreover, the campaign period is extended until May 2, 2024.

The COMELEC apologizes to all candidates and other election stakeholders for the inconvenience.

As the Election Day in the University of the East (UE) draws near, the student leader candidates from Kaisa Ka and Ang Sandigan sa Silangan will face off in the Miting de Avance (MDA) this April 24.

On the other hand, the Miting de Avance for UE-Caloocan’s party alliances, Nagkakaisang Tugon and Tinig ng Silangan, is scheduled on April 30.

Candidates will be answering questions and showing their wits to prove their worthiness on taking the lead for their respective positions.

Students have the chance to ask the candidates for their stance on contemporary issues and have an insight into their values and priorities through their answers.

The UE-Manila MDA is set on Apr. 24 at the SFC Lobby, while the UE-Caloocan MDA is set on Apr. 30 at the Tan Yan Kee Conference Hall.

Both MDAs will be held from 1:00 p.m. onwards, and will be streamed live at the official page of UE-Manila COMELEC, UE-Caloocan COMELEC, and UE Dawn.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 | ANOTHER Withdrawal of Candidacy

Ms. Michelle Nollas, Ang Sandigan’s official candidate for CBA SC Vice President WITHDRAWS her bid for the said position.

According to her letter (attached in the comment section), she withdrew her candidacy because of personal, financial, and family problems. She also received an objection from her parents.

Despite her sudden decision, she is still grateful for Ang Sandigan's support and hopes to continue serving her fellow students outside the council.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗖 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 | Withdrawal of Candidacy

Ms. Aira Vhayanne A. Manalo, KAISA Ka’s official candidate for USC Treasurer WITHDRAWS her bid for the said position.

According to her letter (attached in the comment section), she was initially offered to run as an auditor but was put into the position of treasurer in the last minute of filing the application for candidacy. She also mentioned that she was peer pressured from running into the position that she did not want and not willing to take. Furthermore, she was misinformed believing that she could not withdraw her candidacy. Ms. Manalo, however is still thankful for the opportunity given to her by KAISA Ka Party.
