Sea travel operations involving barge and passenger vessels (lantsa) are temporarily suspended, according to the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) IGACOS Babak Sub-Station.

This follows close monitoring by the PCG of unusual changes in sea conditions, including rising water levels and fluctuating tides, which may pose risks to maritime safety.

Authorities confirmed that there is no definite timeline for the resumption of sea travel, as assessments and continuous monitoring are still ongoing.

The public is advised to avoid unnecessary travel, stay updated through official advisories, and await clearance from authorities before proceeding to ports.

For reports and emergencies, contact the nearest PCG station or local emergency hotlines.

๐Ÿ“ข OPENING OF CLASSES 2026 | Safety First, Always

The opening of classes at Don Esteban Dasalla National High School began with enthusiasm and excitement as students gathered for orientation. However, an earthquake occurred during the activity, prompting the immediate implementation of safety protocols.

Our teachers acted swiftly and responsibly, ensuring that all learners were accounted for and safely guided to designated open areas. Their vigilance and commitment to student safety helped maintain order and calm throughout the situation.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to our Barangay Captain Hon. Nobert Baul for immediately responding to the school, assessing the situation, and personally leading efforts to ensure the safe return of our learners to their homes.

This incident reminds us that preparedness, teamwork, and community cooperation are essential in keeping our learners safe.

Thank you to our teachers, school personnel, barangay officials, parents, and students for your cooperation and resilience.

Safety first. Learning continues. Together, we remain strong and prepared.๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ“š

ARAL Reading Program Culmination

Every word read is a step closer to a brighter future. Today marks the culmination of the ARAL Reading Program at Don Esteban Dasalla National High Schoolโ€”a celebration of progress, perseverance, and the love for learning.

From hesitant readers to growing storytellers, our learners have shown remarkable improvement through patience, guidance, and determination. This journey was made possible by the dedication of our teachers and the unwavering support of our stakeholders, proving that when a community works together, no learner is left behind.

The ARAL Reading Program is more than just literacyโ€”it is about building confidence, unlocking potential, and opening doors to endless possibilities. As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to nurturing even more readers who are ready to explore the world, one page at a time.

Brigada Eskwela: Library Revival Day

In every page turned, a world of knowledge unfoldsโ€”and today, that world was given new life through Brigada sa Learning Resource (LR) / Library of Don Esteban Dasalla National High School.

With helping hands and generous heart every volunteer came together to clean, organize, and enrich our library space, transforming it into a haven for learning and imagination. Each effort, no matter how small, contributed to building an environment where learners can discover, explore, and dream beyond the classroom walls.

This initiative reminds us that a library is not just a place for booksโ€”it is a gateway to opportunities, creativity, and lifelong learning. Through the spirit of bayanihan, we continue to nurture a culture where reading thrives and knowledge is shared.
Together, we build better spaces. Together, we inspire brighter minds.
