Empowering Insights on Gender and Development

Understanding Gender and Development (GAD) is about more than just checking a box for social awareness; it’s about recognizing that every person regardless of gender should have equal rights, responsibilities, and opportunities.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to PSSG Maritel C. Siarot (FJ GAD PNCO) for serving as our Resource Speaker for today’s seminar on Gender and Development (GAD).

Through her engaging discussion, PSSg Siarot didn’t just explain the "what" of GAD; she showed us the "why." She reminded us that true development only happens when every individual—regardless of gender, is given the respect, opportunity, and support they deserve.

We also want to give a massive "Thank You" to all our dedicated PTA Officers who took the time out of their busy schedules to participate in this seminar.

Your presence today proves that our parents and teachers are united in building a safer, more inclusive environment for our children. DUCK, COVER, AND HOLD!

Today, March 12, 2026, Magamomo Elementary School stood united for the 1st Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED). In our mission to build a disaster-resilient community, we didn’t just talk about safety—we practiced it!

A special shoutout to our hardworking PTA Officers who joined us today! Seeing our parents and school leaders working side-by-side during the drill reinforces a vital lesson for our students: Safety is a team effort. Whether at home or in the classroom, we are all committed to protecting our learners.

" Ngiting Bata, Alagang PTA: Toothbrushing and Oral Hygiene Promotion under the WinS Program"

In alignment with the Wash in Schools (WinS) Program, Magamomo Elementary School recently conducted a specialized campaign focused on oral health. Recognizing that dental hygiene is a cornerstone of student wellness and academic focus, the school partnered with local stakeholders to ensure that students have the tools necessary to maintain a healthy smile.

The event was marked by a heartwarming display of community spirit. The PTA Officers headed by our PTA President Mrs. Jeraldine Perez Giangan took the lead in this initiative, demonstrating their commitment to the students' welfare by personally donating toothbrushes to every single Grade 5 student at Magamomo Elementary School - Samal District Igacos .

PTA officers visited the Grade 5 classrooms to hand out the donations, encouraging the children to take pride in their personal grooming.

The activity was a resounding success, proving that when the school administration and the PTA work hand-in-hand, the students are the ultimate winners. The Grade 5 learners left the session not only with new toothbrushes but also with the knowledge and motivation to keep their oral health a top priority.

First Enviro Fiesta Experience💯

Our Magamomo ES learners had their first-ever " Enviro Fiesta 2026 for Kids, and it was filled with excitement, learning, and unforgettable memories.

Thank you so much to our school principal Ma'am Evs Puentenegra Pasana for keep on pushing Ma'am Roliegyn Gallawan Bejod Colita to guide our learners participate the three events: Quiz Bee, Poster Making & WAC (Waste Analysis Classification). Indeed, our learners had so much fun in doing these.
