The DepEd Nite was successfully conducted as part of the celebration of the 38th Araw ng Barangay Bandera, bringing together the amazing talents and vibrant performances of our learners, teachers, and school communities.

A huge congratulations to Bandera Elementary School, headed by Mr. Bethuel L. Majorenos, Jr., School Principal IV and Bandera National High School, headed by Mr. Shernel A. Ibot, Principal I for making this celebration truly special!

A heartfelt appreciation to all the teachers, learners, parents, and everyone behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to prepare the wonderful performances showcased by both schools. Your dedication, creativity, and teamwork made the night a remarkable success!

DAY 2 | IN-SERVICE TRAINING (INSET) 2026

Bandera Elementary School continues to uphold its commitment to the professional growth and development of its teaching personnel through sustained learning, collaboration, and capacity-building initiatives.

The second day of the In-Service Training (INSET) featured a meaningful and informative session facilitated by Ma’am Cherrie Tibay, with the topic:

“Developing Foundational Literacy Skills Through Phonics, Vocabulary, and Comprehension Strategies.”

The session focused on strengthening teachers’ knowledge and pedagogical practices in developing learners’ foundational literacy skills, particularly in phonics, vocabulary development, and reading comprehension. The insights and strategies gained from the session will contribute to more responsive and effective literacy instruction in the classroom.

Through collaborative learning and continuous professional development, the teachers of Bandera Elementary School remain committed to providing quality, responsive, and learner-centered education.

📚✨ 1ST DAY OF IN-SERVICE TRAINING (INSET) | BANDERA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ✨📚

Bandera Elementary School successfully conducted the 1st Day of the In-Service Training (INSET), highlighting the importance of continuous professional development and collaboration among teachers.

The session featured Ma’am Cherrie D. Tibay as Resource Speaker, who discussed “Lesson Planning Based on ILAW Frameworks.” The discussion focused on guiding teachers in developing purposeful, well-structured, and learner-centered lesson plans anchored on the ILAW frameworks.

The session also featured Ma’am Irah D. Guartero, who discussed the “Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Teaching-Learning Process,” emphasizing the responsible and effective use of AI as a tool to support lesson preparation, teaching strategies, and meaningful learning experiences.

Through meaningful discussions, sharing of practices, and collaborative learning, our teachers continue to learn, grow, and innovate in pursuit of quality and learner-centered education. 🌱📖

🇵🇭✨ MATAGUMPAY NA KULMINASYON NG BUWAN NG WIKA 2026 ✨🇵🇭

Matagumpay na ipinagdiwang ng Bandera Elementary School ang Kulminasyon ng Buwan ng Wika 2026, isang makabuluhang pagdiriwang na naglalayong bigyang-halaga ang ating Wikang Filipino, kultura, talento, at pagkakaisa.

Sa temang:

“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,”

ipinamalas ng ating mga mag-aaral mula Kinder hanggang Ikaanim na Baitang ang kanilang husay, pagkamalikhain, at pagmamahal sa ating wika at kultura sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang makukulay at kahanga-hangang pagtatanghal. 🎭🎶💃🕺

Ang bawat pagtatanghal ay nagsilbing salamin ng ating mayamang kultura at patunay ng talento, sipag, at dedikasyon ng ating mga mag-aaral at g**o. Higit pa sa isang pagdiriwang, ang gawaing ito ay naging pagkakataon upang higit nating mapahalagahan ang ating pagkakakilanlan at ang wikang nagsisilbing tulay sa pagkakaunawaan at pagkakaisa.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa ating mga mag-aaral, g**o, magulang, punongg**o, at lahat ng naging katuwang sa matagumpay na pagsasagawa ng pagdiriwang na ito. ❤️

Bandera Elementary School successfully conducted the School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) Kick-Off, marking the beginning of another year of commitment to improving the nutritional status and well-being of our learners.

Our heartfelt gratitude to the Schools Division of the Island Garden City of Samal for continuously prioritizing the implementation of the SBFP, especially for learners identified as Severely Wasted, Wasted, Stunted, and Severely Stunted. Your constant support reflects a strong commitment to ensuring that every child receives the nutrition needed to learn, grow, and succeed.

The activity was facilitated by Christian Mark Silawan, PDO I – SBFP Focal Person, together with Princess Gonato, AO II – Alternate SBFP Focal Person, with the support of the teaching force under the leadership of Bethuel L. Majorenos Jr., Principal IV.

Together, we continue to nourish young minds and build a healthier future, one set of foodpacks, one learner, one step at a time.
