In reference to DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2026 dated April 16, 2026, on the Guidelines for the Implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar in Basic Education, the Department of Education officially announces the conduct of the 2026 Oplan Balik Eskwela (OBE) from May 4โ€“29, 2026.

The Oplan Balik Eskwela is a nationwide initiative that aims to ensure a smooth, orderly, and learner-centered opening of classes through the collective support and collaboration of government agencies, private organizations, community stakeholders, parents, and the education sector.

The Schools Division of Island Garden City of Samal (IGACOS) strongly supports the implementation of the 2026 Oplan Balik Eskwela and remains committed to providing accessible, safe, organized, and quality educational services for all learners as preparations for the opening of classes continue.

Let us work together in creating a welcoming and conducive learning environment for every learner this School Year 2026โ€“2027.
