Unity, Grit, and Glory: Cawag Elementary School Concludes Intramurals 2026

The grounds of Cawag Elementary School buzzed with palpable energy, vibrant colors, and roaring cheers as the school successfully conducted its Intramurals 2026. Anchored on the spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and holistic development, the annual sports event brought together pupils, teachers, and parents for days of intense but friendly competition.

From the opening program to the thrilling championship games, the student-athletes showcased not just their physical prowess, but also their discipline and teamwork. The court and field became a stage where young talents excelled in various sports, traditional games, and cheering competitions, proving that true sportsmanship shines brightest in both victory and defeat.

As we welcome another promising school year, Cawag Elementary School invites you to be part of our annual Brigada Eskwela 2026, happening this June 1–5, 2026.

Our school is more than just a building; it is a second home where our children dream, learn, and grow. To make this environment safe, clean, and inspiring, we need the powerful spirit of Bayanihan that lives within each of us. Whether you can spare a few hours to help, donate materials, or offer your skills, your contribution makes a massive difference.

We are looking for hands and hearts to help us with:
Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweeping, weeding, gardening, and clearing pathways.
Repairs & Painting: Fixing chairs and desks, touch-up painting for classrooms and blackboards.
Donations (In-Kind): Paint, brushes, cleaning supplies (brooms, alcohol, detergents), carpentry tools, and gardening equipment.

🌟 A Heartfelt Day of Service and Connection 🌟

Yesterday’s outreach program was more than just an event—it was a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with purpose and compassion. ❤️

The CFPI MIN MT UNION-AWATU from Modern Trade of Coca-Cola Mindanao worked hand-in-hand distributing sports equipments and foods to K-6 Cawag ES learners. But beyond the activities, what truly made the day special were the moments of genuine connection—children laughing as they received it, parents expressing gratitude, and volunteers finding joy in giving back.
We’re incredibly thankful for CFPI MIN MT UNION-AWATU who contributed their time, resources, and heart to make this outreach initiative successful. Your dedication made a real difference—and together, we’ve sown seeds of hope that will continue to grow. 🌱

Cawag Elementary School Proudly Launches Project SMART: Strengthening Math and Reading Together!

Today, August 11, 2025, after the flag ceremony, the school head, teachers, parents, and pupils gathered at the school grounds for a short but meaningful celebration of hope and commitment. The event began with the presentation of the program’s rationale, followed by inspiring words from the school head, who emphasized the importance of reading and numeracy as keys to every child’s future.

A heartfelt pledge of commitment, led by the program coordinators for reading and numeracy, united the community in their shared goal of helping learners excel. The highlight of the program was the symbolic release of balloons, each carrying a child’s handwritten dream for reading and math—rising high into the sky as a sign that these aspirations are meant to soar and come true.

Project SMART aims to strengthen every learner’s skills in reading and mathematics, ensuring they have a solid foundation for academic success, lifelong learning, and brighter opportunities ahead. Together, we believe that no dream is too high when we work hand in hand.
