BUWAN NG WIKANG PAMBANSA 2026

Sa diwa ng pagkakaisa at pagmamahal sa ating sariling wika, inilunsad ng Angel Villarica Central Elementary School ang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang:
“Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Sa pagharap natin sa makabagong panahon, patuloy nating pinahahalagahan ang Wikang Filipino bilang daluyan ng kaalaman, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan. Kasabay ng pag-unlad ng teknolohiya at Artificial Intelligence (AI), nawa'y maging responsable at mapanuri ang bawat mag-aaral sa paggamit nito bilang katuwang sa pananaliksik at paglinang ng makabuluhang impormasyon.

Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay nagpapaalala na higit nating mahalin, gamitin, at pagyamanin ang ating pambansang wika sa bawat pagkakataon. Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating kultura at ipakita na ang Wikang Filipino ay nananatiling matatag na tulay tungo sa mas maliwanag at makabagong kinabukasan.

𝗘𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁! 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁!

Angel Villarica Central Elementary School officially launches the 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 (𝐒𝐁𝐅𝐏) for S.Y. 2026–2027, catering to 787 identified beneficiaries, today.

This initiative is dedicated to improving the nutritional status of our learners, ensuring they receive the proper nourishment required for healthy physical and cognitive development. By providing nutritious food packs and hot meals, the program aims to boost classroom engagement, address hunger, and directly deal with challenges such as absenteeism.

With the strong support of our educators, parents, and community partners, we are confident in the success of this program as we build a healthier, more focused, and brighter future for every student.

𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬

It never missed any single opportunity. These young angels served their very best in representing the school and the entire island.

Noah Alexander Bureros, Kristoff Almendras, and Cletton San Sunodan, both student-athletes in Angel Villarica CES, brought home the medals as they successfully competed during the 2026 MVPSF Mindanao Taekwondo Championship-Kalivungan Festival TKD Tournament held at Kidapawan City last August 1-2, 2026.

Bureros grabbed the title as a gold medalist in the Grade School-Novice Under 144 cm category. Almendras emerged victorious for his gold medal finish in the category of Grade School-Novice Under 120 cm. Sunodan remained unstoppable as he bagged the silver medal for the Grade School-Advanced Under 136 cm category.

These SSES learners did not only bring pride to the school but also inspire students to take a balance between studies and sports, exemplifying the true spirit of sportsmanship.

𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹

On July 24, 2026, the school canteen personnel participated in an Orientation on 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻conducted to reinforce their understanding of proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices in the school canteen, emphasizing the importance of food safety and hygiene to protect the health and well-being of consumers, particularly the learners.

The orientation was especially timely and necessary as the school prepares for the implementation of the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 (𝗦𝗕𝗙𝗣) 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳,, with the preparation and serving of hot meals to beneficiary learners, strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards is essential.

The orientation also highlighted the Department of Education's Healthy Food and Beverage Choices Policy, with emphasis on the 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗬𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, , encouraging the provision of healthier food options in the school canteen. Likewise, the canteen personnel were reminded of the documentary requirements for food handlers, including the acquisition and maintenance of valid Health Cards, as part of ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

The orientation was facilitated by Division Nurses 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗝𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗔. 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀, whose expertise and guidance strengthened the canteen personnel's readiness and commitment to providing safe, healthy, and nutritious food to learners throughout the school year.
