As part of its commitment to ensuring a safe, healthy, and conducive learning environment, the Clinic Services Unit of Samal Island City College successfully conducted a Misting Activity throughout the college campus in partnership with the City Health Office of the Island Garden City of Samal.

The activity covered all classrooms and offices of the College to help control mosquitoes and other disease-carrying insects, reducing the risk of vector-borne illnesses and creating a safer environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

This initiative forms part of the College's mitigating measures and advocacy for the Dengue Prevention and Control Program, reinforcing its commitment to preventing the spread of dengue and promoting awareness on the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and mosquito-free campus.

The Clinic Services Unit extends its sincere appreciation to the City Health Office-IGCS for its invaluable support and collaboration in making this activity a success.

Together, let us remain vigilant and work hand in hand in protecting our community from dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases. //J.A.
