📷 ROTC SATURDAY INSTRUCTION AND DRILLS

On 05 0700H September 2026, the ESSU Salcedo ROTC Unit conducted its Saturday instruction at the NSTP Building, Ground Floor, ESSU Salcedo Campus, Brgy. Naparaan, Eastern Samar. The activity was supervised by Sgt Francis S Abug (Inf) PA, Tactical NCO, together with Sgt Marito M Sabarillo Jr. PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA). They were joined by five (5) Advance ROTC Cadet Officers and three (3) volunteers under the leadership of C/COL Jomar N Oguing 1CL, Corps Commander.

During the activity, the cadets participated in various drills and exercises focused on proper ex*****on of commands, discipline, coordination, and teamwork. A total of thirty-four (34) Basic ROTC Cadets/Cadettes took part in the training, consisting of twenty (20) female and fourteen (14) male cadets.

The activity provided the cadets with an opportunity to practice and improve their skills while developing discipline and teamwork. The Saturday instruction is still ongoing as part of the continuous training and development of the ESSU Salcedo ROTC Unit.

On 29 0700H August 2026, the ESSU Salcedo ROTC Unit conducted its Saturday instruction and training at the NSTP Building, Ground Floor, ESSU Salcedo Campus, Brgy. Naparaan, Eastern Samar. The activity focused on developing the discipline, proper ex*****on of commands, coordination, and teamwork of the participating ROTC Cadets and Cadettes.

The activity was supervised by Sgt Francis S Abug (Inf) PA, Tactical NCO, together with Sgt Marito M Sabarillo Jr PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA). They were assisted by four (4) Advance ROTC Cadet Officers and three (3) volunteers under the leadership of C/COL Jomar N Oguing 1CL, Corps Commander.

During the training, drills were conducted for ten (10) female and twelve (12) male Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes, with a total of twenty-two (22) participants. The activity is still ongoing as part of the continuous training and development of the ESSU Salcedo ROTC Unit.

📷 ORIENTATION SEMINAR 2026

On 27 August 2026, the ESSU Salcedo ROTC Unit conducted an Orientation Seminar at the Old Gym, Brgy. Naparaan, Eastern Samar. The activity was supervised by Sgt. Francis S Abug (Inf) PA, Tactical NCO, together with Sgt. Marito M Sabarillo Jr. PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA), with the participation of the Advance ROTC Cadet Officers, volunteers, and 4CL cadets under the leadership of C/COL Jomar N Oguing 1CL, Corps Commander. The seminar aimed to guide and prepare the cadets as they begin their ROTC journey, while learning the importance of discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and service.

On 15 0700H AUGUST 2026, the ESSU Salcedo ROTC Unit conducted its Saturday instruction at the NSTP Building, Ground Floor, ESSU Salcedo Campus, Brgy. Naparaan, Eastern Samar. The activity was supervised by Sgt Francis S Abug (Inf) PA, Tactical NCO, together with Sgt Marito M Sabarillo Jr. PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA). They were assisted by four (4) Advance ROTC Cadet Officers and five (5) volunteers under the leadership of C/COL Jomar N Oguing 1CL, Corps Commander.

During the activity, drills and training were conducted for thirteen (13) female and fifteen (15) male Basic ROTC Cadets and Cadettes, with a total of twenty-eight (28) participants. The cadets practiced proper ex*****on of commands, discipline, coordination, and teamwork to help improve their performance during formations and other ROTC activities.

Moreover, Sgt Marito M Sabarillo Jr. PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA), discussed MILITARY LEADERSHIP, while Lemnyl N Caliwan 2CL, S2, discussed INTRODUCTION TO INTELLIGENCE. These discussions provided the cadets with additional knowledge about leadership, responsibilities, and the importance of intelligence in military training.

The said activity is still ongoing as part of the continuous training, learning, and development of the ESSU Salcedo ROTC Cadets and Cadettes.

‎📷 ESSU SALCEDO ROTC UNIT CONDUCTS INTRAMURAL MEET 2026 PARADE AND ENTRANCE

‎Showcasing discipline, unity, and leadership, the ESSU Salcedo ROTC Unit successfully conducted the Parade and Entrance for Intramural Meet 2026 at the back of the stage near the oval, Brgy. Naparaan, Eastern Samar. The activity was actively supervised by Sgt Francis S Abug (Inf) PA, Tactical NCO, together with Sgt Marito M Sabarillo Jr. PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA). A total of six (6) Advance ROTC Cadet Officers, eight (8) volunteers, and nine (9) 4CL cadets participated under the leadership of C/COL Jomar N Oguing, 1CL Corps Commander.

‎The parade was carried out with coordination and discipline, reflecting the dedication and teamwork of the cadets. Through this activity, the ROTC unit continues to promote camaraderie, physical fitness, and leadership among students, strengthening their commitment to service and excellence. The event remains ongoing as part of the Intramural Meet 2026 celebration.
