SALCEDO, EASTERN SAMAR โ House Minority Leader and 4Ps Party-list Representative Marcelino โNonoyโ C. Libanan and Assistant House Minority Leader and Eastern Samar Lone District Representative Christopher Sheen P. Gonzales led a site inspection today at the Eastern Samar State University Salcedo Campus for the proposed construction of a hotel with a golf course, restaurant, and function hall.
The proposed facility is being planned in preparation for the opening of the College of Hospitality Management at ESSU Salcedo. It is intended to provide students with opportunities for practical training and hands-on learning in hospitality operations, while also supporting related academic and institutional activities.
During the visit, they assessed the proposed project site and discussed the requirements and other considerations for the planned construction.
The project forms part of the continuing support and initiatives of Cong. Libanan and Cong. Gonzales for ESSU, particularly in strengthening the universityโs facilities and providing infrastructure that will support quality education and practical learning opportunities for students.
The initiative has also been supported by ESSU President Dr. Andres C. Pagatpatan, Jr., ESSU Salcedo Campus Administrator Dr. Eduardo A. Cablao, Jr., and other university officials, whose leadership and efforts have contributed to advancing the project in preparation for the universityโs expansion into hospitality management education.
Joining the site inspection were 4Ps Party-list Chief of Staff Daniel C. Boco, Guiuan Municipal Mayor Annaliza Gonzales-Kwan, and Guiuan Municipal Councilor Kinna Mae Gonzales-Kwan Mabansag.
