Despite the suspension of classes due to inclement weather, our learners continue to demonstrate resilience, determination, and commitment to their education through the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) of Learning.

With the continued support and guidance of our dedicated teachers, parents, and guardians, learning remains accessible and responsive to the needs of our learners. Through ADM, our school ensures learning continuity while giving utmost priority to the safety and well-being of every learner.

With hearts full of enthusiasm and spirits ignited with determination, our school officially opens the School Intramurals 2026 with the inspiring theme, "Play with a Heart, Shine from the Start."

Today marks the beginning of a celebration of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and excellence as our young athletes from Red Phoenix and Blue Eagles take the field with passion, courage, and respect. 𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗔𝗢𝗕 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹

In support of the Department of Education's commitment to ensuring a clean, safe, healthy, and learner-friendly school environment, the Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) and Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) members of Abas Elementary School successfully conducted OPLAN TAOB in our school.

The activity focused on the clean-up and maintenance of the school surroundings by removing potential mosquito breeding sites, clearing stagnant water, and properly disposing of waste materials. This initiative forms part of the school's efforts to promote health and wellness while strengthening preventive measures against dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases.

Through the active participation of our scouts, teachers, and school personnel, the activity fostered the values of volunteerism, environmental responsibility, teamwork, and shared accountability in creating a safe and conducive learning environment for all learners.

Together, let us continue to uphold cleanliness, practice proper sanitation, and remain vigilant in preventing dengue as we work toward a healthier and safer school community.
