With determination sharpened by motivation, commitment and training, Saguday National HIGH School journalists emerged victorious, earning multiple awards in the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference 2025 held from November 19–21 at Quirino General High School. Their wins not only highlighted the school’s growing legacy in campus journalism but also reflected the passion and resilience of students committed to telling stories that matter.

🌾 Steps of Perseverance, Beats of Resilience

Barefoot. Soaked by the rain. Yet undaunted.
Every step. Every beat. Every movement is a a tribute. A story. A celebration.

The performers of Saguday National High School once again brought the crowd to life with their street dance presentation at the Panagdadapun Festival 2025.

This year’s performance honored the perseverance and resilience of farmers who are the lifeblood of the community. With costumes inspired by the fields, their synchronized moves reflected the hard work, sacrifices, and unwavering spirit of those who till the land.

Through their presentation, the dancers embodied the truth that farmers are the unsung heroes and pillars of resilience.

🌾Truly, the performance was a living story of gratitude and pride.

Kudos to all the trainers, coaches and teachers behind this amazing performance. Thank you to our school head Ma'am Magdalena U. Aquino, to our PSDS Dr. Sonia C. Pagbilao, to our Chief Executive Hon. Jerry M. Pagbilao, to our PTA officials and all our stakeholders, for the support to this endeavor.

Rooted in Saguday, Ready for the Nation: 2025 Graduation Ceremony

With the theme "Generation of Unity: Partners for the New Philippines," this year’s graduation was filled with pride, hope, and inspiration. The highlight of the event was the heartfelt message from our Guest of Honor and Speaker, Brigadier General Onorlie B. Brillantes PAF, a proud SNHS alumnus, who inspired the graduates to persevere, stay focused, and never fear failure or rejection. “Hold on to those who give you strength,” he reminded them — a powerful message for a generation ready to take on the future.

Dr. Mely Ruby, CID Chief, officially accepted and confirmed the graduates on behalf of our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Madelyn L. Macalling. Ma'am Karen Grace Celestino, SEPS-PAR, Dr. Jonathan F. Mauricio, PSDS of Saguday District, together with the Saguday National HIGH School school head Ma'am Magdalena Aquino, and the two head teachers Ma'am Fides and Sir Joey were also present during the occasion, April 14, 2025.
