Entrepreneurship in Action π
What began as a simple Honesty Store has grown into a living classroom of values and real-life skills. Week after week, our students take turns purchasing supplies, managing sales, and keeping inventory β each role shaping their sense of honesty, discipline, and stewardship.
ποΈ The Purchasers of Goods learn discernment, budgeting, and financial responsibility. As they decide what to buy and how much to spend, they begin to understand the true value of money β that it is earned with effort and meant to be used with care and purpose.
π€ The Purchasers from Suppliers learn to budget wisely and discern what to buy. They practice communication, fairness, and accountability as they compare prices, assess needs, and ensure that every purchase benefits the student body.
π The Inventory Keepers develop orderliness, accuracy, and attention to detail. As they track stocks and records, they learn that every item and every peso is accounted for β a real-life lesson in honesty and responsibility.
π¦ The Depositors learn to handle and record transactions with care β counting denominations, filling up forms, and transacting the deposit. Each step strengthens their confidence, accuracy, and sense of stewardship.
Together, these young Montessorians embody self-management, teamwork, and trust. Every task, no matter how simple, becomes a lesson in responsibility and gratitude.
And today, their collective effort bears fruit β the first profit deposit of the Honesty Store to the SELG savings account! π
A beautiful reminder that integrity and teamwork lead to growth not only in numbers, but in character.
Congratulations to our SELG officers, our dedicated Montessorians, and to Teacher Shara for her steady guidance and mentorship throughout this journey.π
May this success continue to inspire our learners to live with honesty, work with diligence, and grow with gratitude β both inside and beyond the classroom.
