September was first declared โScience Monthโ via President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyoโs Proclamation 264, which she signed in 2002.
In the proclamation, Arroyo said that the science clubbing movement and network is โa significant educational tool to encourage and inspire the youth and students to pursue careers in science and technology. ๐งโ๐
