A proud moment worth sharing 📰✨

We recently came across this feature of our Sagay NHS Visual Arts students in Panay News, highlighting their art-for-a-cause initiative to support flood-affected families.

Though published earlier this year, this remains a meaningful milestone for our young artists—proving that their creativity can make a real difference in the community.

We are proud of you all đź’™

🎨 A Meaningful Visit to Our Visual Arts Room

We are honored to have been visited by the Toyota Tomei Lions Club from Japan, a proud member of Lions Clubs International.

Their presence brought encouragement and inspiration to our Visual Arts program, recognizing the creativity, discipline, and potential of our young artists.

Adding to this proud moment, two student artworks were successfully sold—a true testament that our students’ works are not only expressions of art, but also creations with real value.

To our dear students:
Even in your absence today, your art spoke for you—and it spoke powerfully.

We remain committed to nurturing artists who create with purpose, passion, and integrity. 🌟

This 2nd Semestral Art Exhibition,"SANAG KAG DULOM: Sugilanon sa Sanag kag Landong" held on March 13, 2026, was not built in ease, but in process. Like a canvas that resisted the first strokes, it demanded time, patience, and constant guidance, to retain what was taught and give form to what was once unclear.

Amid slow unfolding and quiet interruptions, amid hesitation, scattered efforts, and unfinished lines, the work continued. Not always steady, not always certain—but never abandoned.

And like colors that only find harmony through layers, everything slowly came together. Sulit gid ang tanan nga hatag tudlo kag panikasog, because in the end—natigayon gid.

Each artwork now stands not as perfection, but as evidence: that growth can be slow, discipline can be learned, and even the most uncertain beginnings can arrive at something whole.Padayon

Thank you, Sir, for taking the time to visit and support our Visual Arts learners. Your presence truly inspires us. More power to Sagay!

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our valued partners—the SPA Visual Arts Alumni, Dagway Sagay Arts Village, Syano Artlink, and the Alvarado Family—for their continued support.

Our sincere thanks as well to our supportive parents and to the LGU of Sagay City for championing programs that nurture and empower young artists.
