📢 CALL FOR ARAL MATH (NUMERACY) TUTORS! 📚➗

Bato National High School is looking for dedicated and compassionate ARAL Math (Numeracy) Tutors who are willing to help our learners strengthen their foundational mathematics skills and bridge their learning gaps.

The Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Program aims to provide targeted learning support to learners who need additional assistance in developing essential numeracy competencies, problem-solving skills, and mathematical reasoning.

🎯 ARAL Math Tutoring Focus: • Strengthen number sense and basic mathematical skills
• Develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Address least-mastered and unmastered competencies
• Help learners gain confidence and readiness for grade-level mathematics

📅 Start of Tutoring: Second Term – First Week of September 2026

👩‍🏫 Who Can Volunteer?
We are looking for graduates of Education with a major in Mathematics or Science who are willing, dedicated, and capable of providing meaningful learning support to our learners.

Celebrating and Investing in Our Youth 💙✨

As part of the SK Barangay Bato Handurawan Program, Bato National High School was chosen as one of the recipients of a 1 unit 43" Devant UHD TV and a 1 unit Asahi stand fan in celebration of Linggo/Buwan ng Kabataan—a meaningful gesture of support for the youth and students of Barangay Bato.

More than the donation, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Bato, under the leadership of SK Chairperson Hon. Elah Jamera, also invited our students to participate in their various activities prepared especially for the youth of Barangay Bato. These activities provide opportunities for our young people to learn, connect, showcase their talents, and simply enjoy being part of a community that values them.

We sincerely appreciate the SK Barangay Bato for their generosity, inclusivity, and commitment to empowering the youth. Thank you for making our students feel remembered, valued, and included in this celebration.

Together, let us continue to support, inspire, and empower the youth—the hope and future of Barangay Bato. 💙

🌿🥕 Nutrition Month 2026 Culmination 🍎🌽

Bato National High School successfully celebrated the Nutrition Month 2026 Culmination with fun-filled and meaningful activities that showcased our learners' creativity, talents, and teamwork.

All contests were conducted during the students' STVEP classes, allowing everyone to actively participate while maximizing their learning experiences. Our learners showcased their creativity, talents, and teamwork through various activities, including the Nutri Cook-Off, Talipapa Display, Photo Booth, Nutri Quiz Bee, Corale Contest, Poster & Slogan Making, Hairdressing and Make-up, Manicure/Pedicure, and Tarpaulin & Invitation Card Designing.
The Chorale Contest was held during the Closing Program after class hours in the afternoon, where participants beautifully performed the contest pieces: Reciting the Bully Pledge, singing of the NIR Song, and Panahon Na ng Pagbabago.

This year's celebration, anchored on the theme "Nutrisyon at Kalikasan, Ating Pangalagaan," reminded us that proper nutrition and caring for the environment go hand in hand in building a healthier and brighter future.

A heartfelt thank you to our school administrators, teachers, staff, parents, student leaders, and all participants for making this celebration a success. Congratulations to all the winners and participants! Your passion, creativity, and teamwork truly made this year's Nutrition Month a memorable one.

Powering Empathy, Acceptance, and Connection Everyday

Today, we officially launched our PEACE Initiative during the flag ceremony, followed by a meaningful PEACE Rally that inspired our school community to embrace trust and hope. We were blessed to hear an uplifting message from our invited speaker, Pastor Linihan, who reminded us that trust strengthens relationships and hope gives us the courage to face challenges with kindness and compassion.

Together, let us continue building a school where everyone feels valued, respected, safe, and accepted. By choosing empathy, acceptance, and connection every day, we can create a bullying-free environment where everyone has the opportunity to grow and thrive.
