A few minutes before heading home, our Aghamazing Kids rolled up their sleeves and helped clean our school. 🧹💚

It may be a small effort, but every little action helps make our campus cleaner and more enjoyable for everyone. Thanks to everyone who joined and volunteered!

Let's keep working together for a cleaner and greener school! 🌱♻️

This Valentine’s Day, let’s celebrate not just hearts and flowers but also the science behind love! ❤️

Did you know? 🤔

🧠 When you fall in love, your brain releases
DOPAMINE — the “feel-good” chemical that makes you feel happy and excited.

💓 Your heart may beat faster because of ADRENALINE especially when you see your crush!

🤗 The “cuddle hormone” called OXYTOCIN increases when you hug someone, helping you feel closer and more connected.

🌹 Even the smell of flowers can trigger positive emotions because of how our brain processes scents!

Love isn’t just poetry and chocolates
—it’s also biology, chemistry, and a little bit of physics (because sparks fly! ⚡😉)

Today, let’s spread kindness, compassion, and positive energy — because the best reactions happen when hearts connect. 💞

Happy Valentine’s Day

This Valentine’s Day, the ELMIS community came together in celebration under the theme: “Hugpong: Gugma sa Tion nga Kinahanglanon.”
In partnership with the Bookworms Club, the Science Club distributed small tokens of love— chocolates and candies — to our beloved Eusebian families facing recent challenges, as well as to the whole ELMIS community. 💖

For just like science, love multiplies when shared.
Like knowledge, kindness reaches far and wide.
And in moments that matter most, we choose to hugpong — to stand united.

Through this simple gesture, we showed that even the sweetest little acts can create the warmest smiles. 💕

In honor of Teachers' Day 2025, the Science Club and Math Club extend our deepest gratitude to the educators who illuminate our minds and shape our futures. We recognize and cherish your tireless efforts in nurturing curiosity, fostering critical thinking, and instilling a lifelong love of learning. Your dedication extends far beyond the classroom, and your impact resonates within each student you guide.

To express our sincere appreciation, we are delighted to offer all our beloved teachers a comforting treat: 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝗢𝗣𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗. We believe that even the most dedicated individuals deserve moments of warmth and nourishment, and we hope this small gesture conveys our immense respect and admiration.

This simple offering is our way of saying:

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 for igniting our passion for knowledge and for inspiring us to explore the wonders of science and the elegance of mathematics.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 for the countless hours spent preparing lessons, grading papers, and providing invaluable support to each and every student.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 for your unwavering patience, your compassionate hearts, and your commitment to creating a positive and engaging learning environment.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 for being role models, mentors, and guides, and for instilling in us the values of perseverance, kindness, and intellectual curiosity.

We cordially invite all teachers to visit our booth/area during the Teachers' Day celebration to enjoy a warm and comforting bowl of sopas and a freshly baked slice of bread. May this small offering bring you a moment of relaxation and remind you of the profound impact you have on our lives.

Happy Teachers’ Day 2025! May your day be filled with joy, appreciation, and the knowledge that you are making a difference in the world.

With profound admiration and heartfelt thanks,

The Science Club & Math Club

Experience the thrill of Agawan Base! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Join our larong lahi tournament where speed, strategy, and teamwork collide. Grades 7-12, get ready to steal bases and capture glory!

Here are the mechanics and guidelines for an "Agawan Base" tournament, structured by grade level:

Tournament Structure

1. Divisions:

◦ Group 1: Grades 7-8

◦ Group 2: Grades 9-10

◦ Group 3: Grades 11-12

2. Initial Competition: Each group will compete separately within their grade level.

3. Advancement: The winning team from each group will advance to the final round.

4. Final Round: The winning teams from Groups 1, 2, and 3 will compete against each other to determine the overall champion.

General Mechanics and Guidelines for Agawan Base

1. Objective

◦ The primary goals are to steal the opponent's base and capture their players.

◦ This tests players' speed, agility, and strategic thinking.

2. Teams and Bases

◦ The players will be divided into two teams with an equal number of members. A minimum of four players per team is recommended.

◦ Each team has a home base, which can be marked by a tree, slipper, or any visible marker.

◦ Assign one member from each team to guard their base.

3. Gameplay

◦ A safety line is drawn between the two bases to define the territories.

◦ Players try to tag opponents who cross the safety line into their territory.

◦ If tagged, a player becomes a prisoner and must stand at the captor’s base.

◦ Teammates can rescue prisoners by tagging them, freeing them from captivity.

◦ To steal the opponent's base and win, a player must touch the opponent's base without being tagged.

4. Winning

◦ A team wins by either tagging the opponents' base or capturing all of the opposing team members.

5. Tips for Winning

◦ Develop a team strategy, targeting weaker opponents.

◦ Focus on speed and agility to avoid being tagged.

◦ Pay attention to the opponents' movements to anticipate their strategies.

Additional Tournament Rules

1. Team Size: Each team must have an equal number of players, with a recommended minimum of four players per team.

2. Fair Play: All players must adhere to the rules of the game and exhibit good sportsmanship.

3. Boundary Lines: Clearly mark the boundaries of the playing area to avoid disputes.

4. Disputes: Any disputes or disagreements will be resolved by a designated tournament referee or organizer.
