The Talusan Elementary School SCIMATHLYMPICS 2026 proudly celebrates the talents, skills, and achievements of our young learners in Science and Mathematics. Guided by our theme, “WHERE SCIENCE MEETS MATHEMATICS: IGNITING YOUNG MINDS,” the event inspired pupils to explore, think critically, solve problems, create, and discover the joy of learning.

The celebration featured exciting and challenging contests such as Quiz Bee, Scientist Look-Alike, Sci-Reels, Tower of Hanoi, and other Science- and Mathematics-related activities. These competitions provided our pupils with meaningful opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge, creativity, critical-thinking skills, confidence, and passion for discovery.

We warmly congratulate all our winners and awardees for their outstanding accomplishments. Your dedication, perseverance, preparation, and determination have truly brought pride to TES. More importantly, we commend all participants for having the courage to take on challenges, learn from the experience, and give their very best.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our School Principal, whose leadership and support helped make this meaningful celebration possible. We also extend our deepest gratitude to our dedicated teachers, coaches, and coordinators for their time, guidance, encouragement, and commitment in preparing and mentoring our pupils. To our parents and families, thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and sacrifices that continue to nurture our children's dreams and achievements.

Rev. Father Mark Jason L. Bacalso, commenced the Monthly School Mass for this school year🙏⛪

As one school community, we were gathered in prayer and thanksgiving during our
School Mass, seeking God's guidance, wisdom, and blessings for our learners, teachers, staff, and families.

May this celebration of the Holy Eucharist continue to strengthen our faith, inspire us to live with kindness and compassion, and remind us to walk each day with Christ at the center of our lives.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Sagay City PNP in leading the School Safety and Anti-bullying Awareness in Talusan Elementary School through our Chief of Police, PLTCOL Alvimar M. Flores. Thank you for sharing invaluable information to our learners and empowering them to fight against bullying and abuse, even illegal drugs.

Through this informative session, our learners gained a better understanding of how bullying affects others and learned the importance of showing kindness, respect, and courage in standing up against it. Together, we continue to build a safe, caring, and peaceful school where every child feels valued and protected.

Your dedication to educating and empowering our pupils inspires them to choose kindness, respect, and responsibility every day.

Through our partnership, we intensity our PEACE Campaign, we continue to strengthen the collaboration between schools, law enforcement, and the community in promoting peace, discipline, and a bullying-free environment where every learner can grow with confidence, dignity, and hope.

There are goodbyes that are easy to say, and there are goodbyes that leave a space in our hearts. Today is one of those moments.

With hearts filled with gratitude, pride, and a sense of sadness, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to you, Ma'am Janice G. Maghupoy, on your approved transfer. While we are truly happy for this new chapter in your life, bidding farewell to someone who has become an important part of the Talusan Elementary School family is never easy.

For almost nine years, you have served with dedication, compassion, and commitment. You have been more than a teacher to your learners, you have been a mentor, a guide, and a source of encouragement. Your patience, kindness, and love for teaching have made a lasting impact on the lives of your pupils and colleagues.

We sincerely thank you for the many years of service, the countless efforts you shared, and the meaningful moments you created with us. Your positive presence, support, and willingness to help have brought joy and inspiration to our school community. Talusan Elementary School started the week by gathering for our simultaneous flag raising in Celebration of South China Sea Arbitrary Award and PEACE Advocacy.

Our school will continue to create a venue where every child is seen and heard. A safe space for our learners where compassion, empathy, peace and respect are evident in our every movement.
And a place where Patriotism and Unity as Filipinos are being nurtured and valued.
