USAT College Sagay City Inc., Department of BS Tourism Management proudly participated in the 2nd COHREP General Membership Meeting and Seminar 2025 held on October 18, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Sinulog Hall, Citadines Hotel, Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.
Representing the Department of BS Tourism Management, Ms. Jerzen Joyce O. Oyanib, MBA-HRM, CRS, CRDC, and esteemed faculty members Ms. Mary Cris T. Lobaton, Mr. John Erwin Abe, MBA-HTM (C), and Mr. John Eduard Alfonso actively participated in the event, contributing to the discussions and sharing their expertise.
The event was a convergence of minds, bringing together hospitality and tourism educators from various schools, universities, and higher education institutions (HEIs) nationwide and myriad experts and professionals from different fields in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

These speakers shared valuable insights on heritage preservation, Negrense cultural identity, sustainable gastronomy, storytelling in tourism, and the empowerment of local communities through culture and tradition. These topics are important to the tourism and hospitality education sector, reflecting the diverse expertise that drives our field forward.
