WARMEST CONGRATULATIONS AND HEARTFELT THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO MADE PLARIDEL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL- ELEMENTARY DAY 2025 A TRUNDUIMPHANT SUCCESS! 🎉

We couldn't have done it without the tireless efforts of our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and enthusiastic learners. The energy, excitement, and joy that filled the ground were palpable, and we're still basking in the warm glow of a fantastic day!

The day kicked off with a bang with the playground demonstration, showcasing the talents of our students from each grade level. From the cutest dance of the Kindergarten pupils to the energetic performace of the Grade 6, every performance was met with thunderous applause and cheers from the audience! 👏

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the crowning of Mr. and Ms. Elementary 2025, Mr. Zeeb Carl H. Reyes and Ms. Shyra Mea M. Absalon! Congratulations to our new Mr. and Ms. Elementary 2025, and to all the Runners-Up who represented themselves with pride and dignity! 👑

We also took a moment to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our Division Athletic Winners and Champions! 🏆 Your hard work, dedication, and perseverance have brought pride and honor to our school, and we're so proud of each and every one of you!

Congratulations to Clientton James C. Bacalso, gold medalist in Badminton Singles Boys and Harl Benson Vasquez, silver medalist in Badminton Singles Boys. They will be representing not just our school but also our Schools Division and our beloved City in the upcoming Provincial Meet 2025.

Our sincerest gratitude goes out to our amazing DepEd Tayo Plaridel Elementary School faculty and staff for your creativity, hard work, and dedication to making this day a memorable one for our learners. To our parents, thank you for your unwavering support and participation in every activity. To our Brgy. Council for the invaluable and contiuijng support to our school community. And to our pupils, YOU are the stars of the show! Your energy, enthusiasm, and smiles lit up the entire ground!

Plaridel Elementary School Faculty and Staff together with the beneficiaries of the Batang Sagaynon Kampeon Program: Project School-Based Civil Registration Assistance Program for Learners Year 2, extend our heartfelt gratitude to our City Mayor, Honorable Leo Rafael M. SUSPENSION OF CLASSES. Sagay City Mayor Leo Rafael Cueva ordered the suspension of classes in all levels today, Monday September 22, 2025 , upon the recommendation of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMO) due to inclement weather brought about by HABAGAT and Super Typhoon “Nando”.

For your safety, residents are advised to stay indoors and monitor official news updates.

Fisherfolks are strongly advised not to venture out in the sea today due to rough seas.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT
By order of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), all classes at every level and work in government offices are suspended today, September 1, 2025, in Negros Occidental and other affected areas.

To ensure essential services remain available to Sagaynons, all City Hall offices involved in health, social welfare, disaster response, and public safety will continue to operate.

Other City Hall offices will maintain a skeleton workforce to assist Sagaynons with urgent needs.
