Despite the onslaught of Typhoon Basyang, the Schools Division Office of Sagay successfully conducted an online meeting in preparation for the upcoming Division Festival of Talents, particularly the STEMazing Contest on February 6, 2026 via Google Meet platform.

The virtual conference gathered District and School Mathematics and Science Coordinators, along with contest coaches, to finalize plans and strategies for the event.

The meeting was presided over by Marlon L. Solivio, Education Program Supervisor in Science of SDO Sagay, who emphasized the importance of collaboration in ensuring the smooth conduct of the competition.

Discussions focused on contest guidelines, roles of coordinators and coaches.

The meeting highlighted the commitment of the division to push forward with academic and talent-based activities, underscoring the value of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in nurturing student excellence.

The Division Festival of Talents is expected to showcase the creativity and innovation of learners, with STEMazing serving as a platform to highlight their skills in problem-solving, scientific inquiry, and technological applications.
