A Call for Prayers and Support for Jacob Japitana
The SUNN community humbly asks for your prayers and support for Jacob Japitana, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Information Systems (BSAIS) student who is courageously battling a brain tumor.
Jacob is scheduled to undergo a critical brain operation on June 22, 2026, a procedure that offers hope for his recovery but comes with an estimated cost of ₱150,000 to ₱200,000. This has placed a significant financial burden on his family as they face one of the most challenging moments of their lives.
In response, fellow students, faculty members, alumni, and friends have come together to organize fundraising activities and donation drives to help ease the financial burden of his medical treatment. Their collective efforts reflect the compassion, unity, and spirit of service that define the SUNN community.
Today, we ask everyone to join us in lifting Jacob up in prayer. May God guide the hands of the medical team, grant Jacob strength and courage, and provide comfort and hope to his family. We also appeal to kind-hearted individuals who may wish to extend financial assistance. Every donation, no matter the amount, can make a meaningful difference.
Let us stand together as one community in supporting Jacob on his journey toward healing and recovery.
“Together, we heal. Together, we hope.”
