Our Mandate

The Department of Education was established through the Education Decree of 1863 as the Superior Commission of Primary Instruction under a Chairman. The Education agency underwent many reorganization efforts in the 20th century in order to better define its purpose vis a vis the changing administrations and charters. The present day Department of Education was eventually mandated through Republic Act 9155, otherwise known as the Governance of Basic Education act of 2001 which establishes the mandate of this agency. The Department of Education (DepEd) formulates, implements, and coordinates policies, plans, programs and projects in the areas of formal and non-formal basic education. It supervises all elementary and secondary education institutions, including alternative learning systems, both public and private; and provides for the establishment and maintenance of a complete, adequate, and integrated system of basic education relevant to the goals of national development.

𝗜𝗖𝗬𝗠𝗜 | 𝗦𝗔𝗠𝗕𝗔𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻: 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀

Last Friday, July 31, 2026, the CDIFS Supreme Secondary Learner Government successfully held the first SAMBAyanan: Monthly Holy Mass at the Brgy. Colonia Divina Covered Court 💚

SAMBAyanan is a monthly Holy Mass spearheaded by CDIFS SSLG in support of the Division’s Living with Faith Program.
SAMBA means worship and BAYAN means community — together, it means “a community that worships together.”

In line with our commitment to respect and celebrate religious diversity, a different religious group will lead the mass every month to cater to the faiths of our learners. For this month’s launch, we were honored to have ALAPH Divine Temple — the religious sect that founded Brgy. Colonia Divina — to lead us in prayer and thanksgiving.

The mass was attended by Grade 4–12 learners and teachers, coming together as one Colonian family to pray for guidance, peace, and blessings for the new school year.

Tomorrow is our scheduled 2nd Summative Test for Term 1. This is your chance to show what you’ve learned and how far you’ve grown this term. Let’s give our best and take this assessment seriously — every effort counts!

Reminders & Tips:
1. Be prepared - Bring your ballpen, notebook, and other needed materials. Come to school on time and in complete uniform.
2. Rest and review - Get enough sleep tonight, eat a good breakfast, and do a quick review of your lessons.
3. Stay calm and focused - Read instructions carefully, manage your time wisely, and do your own work with honesty and integrity.

Colonia Divina Integrated Farm School is proud to announce the designation of Ma’am Julie V. Mayagma as the new Teacher-In-Charge of Romeo V. Agustin Elementary School, effective August 3, 2026.

Ma’am Julie, a dedicated Teacher III handling Filipino subjects in elementary, also serves as DCP Coordinator and DRRM Coordinator. She will be filling the position vacated by Sir Alquiver Tapia, who was recently promoted as Principal I of Manara Integrated School. With her years of service, commitment to learners, and strong leadership in school programs, we are confident she will continue to uphold quality education and service in RV Agustin ES.

The CDIFS family congratulates both Ma’am Julie on her new role and Sir Alquiver on his well-deserved promotion. Padayon sa pagserbisyo para sa Kabataang Sagaynon!

OFFICIAL SCHOOL ADVISORY

Subject: Implementation of Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) and Declaration of HINAY under the 4H Policy

In the interest of ensuring the safety and well-being of all learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and in accordance with the 4H Policy, Colonia Divina Integrated Farm School hereby declares HINAY and shall shift all classes at all levels to the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) effective today, July 9, 2026, until further notice.

This decision is made due to the prevailing strong winds and adverse weather conditions affecting our area. The declaration is based on the authority granted to schools under the 4H Policy, which allows schools to implement the appropriate response even without an official declaration from the Local Government Unit.

All teachers are directed to implement the appropriate ADM and ensure that learning materials and instructions are communicated to learners and parents through the school's official communication channels.

Everyone is advised to stay safe, monitor official school announcements, and take all necessary precautions.

The CDIFS community extends its sincere congratulations to Ms. Lluvia Erika A. Buhayan for successfully completing the Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness program at the University of St. La Salle – Bacolod.

Ms. Buhayan’s academic journey is a testament to resilience, perseverance, and determination. She pursued and completed her degree during the COVID-19 pandemic — a period that presented unprecedented challenges to learners worldwide. Her path was further marked by the difficulties of limited internet access and financial constraints, circumstances that often hinder academic progress.

Despite these obstacles, Ms. Buhayan demonstrated unwavering commitment to her education. She adapted to remote and modular learning, maximized available resources, and maintained academic standards under conditions that tested her resolve. Her ability to overcome these barriers reflects the qualities essential to her chosen field of agribusiness: resourcefulness, adaptability, and long-term vision.
