We are proud to announce that our city’s entry, the “Sagay Pride Bench,” has won 2nd Place in the Plastic Rebirth: Sustainable Small Furniture Making Contest during the Panaad sa Negros Festival 2026🏆
This innovative, space-saving, multi-functional bench is crafted from 80% recycled plastic and 20% wood, beautifully showcasing Sagaynon craftsmanship while promoting marine conservation. ♻️

Designed by the talented minds of our very own educators, Sir Jessieboy L. Nazarino and Sir Nonie F. Falcunit , this creation reflects our community’s dedication to sustainability and creativity. 💡
