Congratulations, Young Journalists! 🎉 You proudly participated in the Municipal Schools Press Conference and demonstrated your excellent writing, communication, and journalistic skills alongside student writers from different schools in the district.

The achievement marked another meaningful milestone for MCA’s campus journalism program, as the students gained valuable experience in responsible journalism, critical thinking, and effective communication.

The Municipal Police Station conducted a Safety Awareness Seminar for MCA to promote safety, discipline, and awareness among learners both inside and outside the school.

During the seminar, PNP personnel discussed various safety measures and reminded students about the importance of being alert and responsible in their daily activities. The discussion covered personal safety, proper behavior in public places, awareness of potential dangers, and ways to respond appropriately during emergencies.

The activity aimed to equip students, teachers and non-teaching staff with knowledge and skills that would help them make safe and responsible decisions. It also strengthened the partnership between the school and the local police force in promoting a secure and child-friendly learning environment.

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Sablayan conducted a disaster preparedness and earthquake drill seminar for MCA students to enhance their knowledge and readiness during emergencies and natural disasters.

The seminar focused on important disaster preparedness measures, particularly the proper actions to take before, during, and after. MDRRMO personnel discussed safety precautions, emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and the importance of staying calm during disasters.

The school expressed its appreciation to the MDRRMO for conducting the seminar and providing valuable knowledge and skills that could help protect students, teachers, and the entire school community during times of disaster.

Ipinagdiriwang ng Maranatha Christian Academy of Sablayan ang Buwan ng Wika sa pamamagitan ng iba’t ibang makabuluhan at malikhaing gawain na naglalayong palalimin ang pagpapahalaga ng mga mag-aaral at kanilang mga pamilya sa wikang Filipino, kultura, at mayamang pamana ng ating bansa.

Sa taong ito, tampok sa pagdiriwang ang mga sumusunod na gawain:

• Tagisan ng Talino
• Pagsulat ng Tula
• Paligsahan sa Pagbigkas ng Tula

Sama-sama nating ipagdiwang ang ating wika at kultura habang isinasabuhay ang diwa ng tema ng taong ito: “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”
