Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. With the theme 𝗔𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗱: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗔𝗖 Student L𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗔𝗖𝗶𝗮𝗻, the Central Student Council (CSC) & the Nightingale Club officially ushered in a new chapter of student leadership during its annual Induction Ceremony held today, July 24, 2026, at Rooms 11–12 of the MAC Building.

Gathering student leaders, faculty, and administrators under the banner of service for School Year 2026–2027, the ceremony opened with a solemn processional featuring both outgoing and incoming officers, followed by opening devotions and welcome remarks from Joshelle Hilario (BSN 1).

Pr. Renato Liberato, District Pastor of Central Occidental Mindoro 1, delivered an uplifting message reminding student leader of their call to spiritual and civic responsibility.

Student Services Office Director/OIC Campus Administrator, Mr. Rodel A. Omayana officially administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected student leaders presented by COMELEC Chair Eunice Casimiro.

In a poignant moment of transition, outgoing CSC President Rhyza Blaire Navarro formally handed over the Symbolic Key of Responsibility to incoming CSC President Marie Claire Manzano, symbolizing the transfer of leadership and vision.

Pr. Renato Liberato led a dedicatory and anointing prayer for the new executive board, invoking wisdom and guidance for the upcoming academic year.

The program concluded with closing remarks from incoming CSC Vice President -Social Jay-r R. Omayana, the singing of the MAC Hymn led by Shynee Sombillo (BSN 2), and a benediction by School Chaplain Mr. Jan Marloel F. Jamilla.

With their official induction complete, President Marie Claire Manzano and the new executive council stand ready to represent and serve the student body throughout the 2026–2027 academic year.

To ensure a safe, organized, and smooth flow of traffic within the campus premises, all students who drive cars and motorcycles are strictly reminded to observe the following parking guidelines effective immediately:

Designated Parking Areas: Please park your vehicles properly only in the designated spaces facing the Library or facing the Biochemistry Laboratory.

Keep Driveways Clear: Do not park or leave your vehicles along the driveway. The driveway must remain clear at all times for emergency vehicles and passing traffic.

Do Not Block Entrances: Parking directly in front of or blocking any building entrances is strictly prohibited.

Let us practice good stewardship and respect for our shared campus spaces.

SABLAYAN, OCCIDENTAL MINDORO — Manila Adventist College - Mindoro (MAC Mindoro) officially ushered in the new academic year by hosting its General Orientation on June 25, 2026, anchoring the semester in spiritual growth, academic excellence, and campus unity.

The event was divided into two comprehensive segments, drawing active participation from administration officials, faculty, staff, and a vibrant cohort of students—led notably by the second-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN 2) class.

The morning commenced with a deeply grounded spiritual segment. Student leaders Marie Claire Manzano and Ruth Solimen led the assembly in a singspiration, followed by an opening prayer from Elysa Mariz Barrientos and welcome remarks by Shelah Vollmer.

A key highlight of the morning was the devotional message delivered by School Chaplain Pr. Jan Marloel Jamilla, who encouraged the student body to maintain spiritual resilience and purpose throughout their academic journeys.

The second half of the program shifted to the Orientation Proper, opening with the National Anthem led by Shynee Llaine Sombillo and the recitation of the MAC Philosophy, Vision, and Mission by Princess GL Monsales. The Nightingale Club Officers also treated the crowd to a special musical number.

Key institutional leaders formally welcomed the student body with inspiring addresses, including Mr. Joerey T. Dayahan, VP for College Administration, Dr. Wealthy C. Estrada, Campus Administrator, and Lynette R. Sulit, Dean, School of Nursing.

To ensure a smooth transition for the students, various department heads presented the school's core guidelines and essential services. Campus Administrator Dr. Wealthy C. Estrada spoke on the unique Principles and Standards of Adventist Education, while School Registrar Ms. Cecille Grace Panugao outlined vital admission and scholarship requirements.

Other vital student touchpoints—including Student Finance (presented by Ainor Fabregas), School Clinic Services (Jahziel Manzano, RN), and Student Services/General Behavior presented by Rodel A. Omayana, SSO Director—were thoroughly discussed to equip students for daily campus life.

The successful event concluded on a high note with the traditional singing of the MAC Hymn and a benediction pronounced by School Chaplain, Jan Marloel Jamilla, marking a hopeful and structured beginning for the MAC Mindoro community.

HIGHLIGHTS: First Day of Classes at MAC Mindoro Campus

MAC Mindoro Campus successfully opened its doors for the new academic year. The day commenced with a Flag Ceremony spearheaded by student volunteers, attended by the campus Faculty and Staff alongside the incoming Level 1 students.
