San Alfonso High School is the first educational institution established in Sabangan by the CICM Missionaries in 1959 and one of the five Catholic Schools found in Mountain Province. Along with the other four National High Schools in the Municipality (Sabangan NHS, Data NHS, Pingad NHS, Namatec NHS), SAHS remains to provide the necessary trainings and insights to the local youths that may help in their holistic development.

Meet Johna Mae Madalang, a new member of the club and a SciTech writer, quickly made a name after placing 3rd in the District Press Conference and qualifying for the Division level. This year, together with fellow Grade 7 campus journalist Keira Gawi Gawigawen, they became the first to compete in the SciTech category since the comeback of the organization. She also previously competed at the regional level during her elementary years.
