‎Nasungkit ng dalawang grupo mula sa Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) department ng Cagayan State University – Carig Campus (CSUC) ang dalawang major awards sa 16th Annual Research Awards (ARAW) 2026 na ginanap sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP), Sta. Mesa, Manila, Agosto 20.

Nakamit nina Arnold E. Paclarin Jr., Jonel Angelo D. Vendiola, at Vinzel M. Tablac, ang kampyeonato sa kategoryang Poster Presentation para sa kanilang proyektong, 'MATA METER: Monitoring and Analysis of Transformer Acquired Parameters' sa ilalim ng paggabay ni Engr. Ian C. Pagulayan

‎Samantala, nakuha naman nila Christian Jake P. Cabasag, Gani Luis B. Dacanay, at Vince F. Sumagay, kasama ang kanilang adviser na si Engr. Michael B. Orpilla, ang 1st Runner-up sa Commercialization Research sa kanilang inobasyong, 'Smart Agri-gate with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) for Irrigation Canal Operations'.

‎Ang programa na siyang itinatag ng PUP katuwang ang Department of Science and Technology ay may layuning kilalanin ang mga natatanging student researchers, makabagong teknolohiya, at engineering solution na may potensyal na i-commercialize.

‎Ang parehong grupo ay nakipagtagisan sa mga research project mula sa iba’t ibang pampubliko at pribadong unibersidad sa buong Pilipinas at nasa ilalim ng paggabay ni Engr. Ericson L. Visaya.

We proudly celebrate the remarkable achievements of our learners in the Legislative District 5 Science and Technology Fair! This victory is a reflection of their hard work, perseverance, creativity, and courage to turn ideas into meaningful innovations. We are truly grateful to Almighty God for blessing our learners with wisdom, strength, and determination throughout this victorious journey.

This victory was made possible because of the people who believed, supported, and stood behind our learners every step of the way.Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our School Principal, Dr. Vilma C. Dayrit, EdD, for her inspiring leadership and unwavering support; our Science Head Teacher, Ma'am Jemma Pagarigan Cagungun Cagungun , for her dedication in nurturing our learners’ passion for Science and Research and Ma'am Marilyn Casayuran Lagundimao for giving her time to support and for motivating every participants and coaches ; and our Roxas West PSDS, Dr. Jun Jun G. Ringor, EdD, for his valuable guidance, encouragement, and steadfast support for our school’s pursuit of excellence.
