TAPS Roxas Men's Volleyball Wins Big, Advances to Finals
The TAPS Roxas men's volleyball team started the Elimination round strong, defeating TAPS Ilagan 2-0 at the Nassim-Roxas gymnasium today, November 27, 2025.
Roxas showed skill and teamwork right away, using powerful serves and spikes to win the first set easily, 25–15.
They kept their defense firm and their plays strong in the second set, closing the match with a fast victory, 25–12. The team proved that with cooperation, they are ready for the final championship game.

Roxas Women's Volleyball Team Wins Semi-Finals, Advances to Finals
The TAPS Roxas women's volleyball team secured their spot in the championship finals after defeating TAPS Santiago in the semi-finals on November 27, 2025.
Roxas showed strong power and teamwork to get the victory by winning two sets to zero (2-0). Playing at the TAPS Nassim-Roxas gymnasium, the team quickly took control of the game.
Roxas won the first set easily, 25–13, using powerful serves and sharp attacks. The second set was a much closer fight, but Roxas stayed calm under pressure and won the final points to secure the victory, 26–24.
This straight-set victory proves their skill and team unity as they head confidently into the final championship game.

Dynamic Duo Macaburas & Luzano Sweep Cauayan, Advance to Finals
Shane R. Macaburas and Marianne Joyce L. Luzano of the Girls' Doubles Division are headed to the championship round!
The powerful duo secured their spot by sweeping TAPS Cauayan 2-0 at TAPS Alicia on November 19, 2025.
Macaburas and Luzano showed excellent teamwork and energy, easily winning the first set 21-11. They then quickly finished the match with a strong victory in the second set, 21-8.
This impressive win proves they have the skill and confidence needed for the championship game.

The gymnasium at TAPS Roxas was energized throughout the tournament as five participating campuses—TAPS Alicia, TAPS Roxas, TAPS Ilagan, TAPS Cauayan, and TAPS Santiago—competed fiercely for a spot in the championship games.
This event was more than just scoring points; it was a showcase of the grit, teamwork, and discipline that our TAPS athletes embody. From nail-biting finishes to dominating victories, every match highlighted the competitive spirit within our school community.
We send a huge shout-out and congratulations to all the dedicated athletes who stepped onto the court and represented their campuses with integrity and heart. Your commitment and excellent sportsmanship truly made this elimination round a success! We look forward to seeing who claims the titles in the upcoming Finals!

TAPS Roxas is heading straight to the championship! They made a massive statement on their home court today, November 21, 2025, by crushing TAPS Alicia with a dominant 20-3 victory in the Elementary 3x3 Basketball elimination round at the TAPS Roxas-Nassim Gymnasium.
The TAPS Roxas squad displayed flawless teamwork and suffocating defense, holding their TAPS Alicia rivals to just three points for the entire game. Their offense was electric, scoring consistently to easily reach the 20-point target needed to win the match.

JHS BASKETBALL | TAPS ROXAS EDGED OUT IN THRILLING 3x3 MATCH
TAPS Cauayan narrowly defeated TAPS Roxas in a highly competitive Junior High School 3x3 Basketball elimination match, securing a dramatic 12-11 victory today, November 20, 2025, at the TAPS Roxas Gymnasium.
The match was a fierce, back-and-forth battle marked by excellent defense and clutch shooting from both teams. Neither team was able to pull away, keeping the score tight right up until the final moments.
In the end, TAPS Cauayan edged out the host team, TAPS Roxas, with the minimal one-point margin. The outcome highlights the intense competition in the JHS division and sets the tone for the remaining elimination rounds.

ROAD TO THE FINALS: ZHYRAIN AGUINALDO SMASHES COMPETITOR IN STRAIGHT SETS

BADMINTON DOUBLES MEN (JHS) | Cabacungan and Casungcad's Journey to Finals
Anjonico Casungcad and Ethan Cabacungan of TAPS Roxas have advanced to the Junior High School Badminton Doubles Men's finals, completing their essential qualification matches at TAPS Alicia Campus on November 19, 2025.
The doubles team achieved a clutch comeback victory against TAPS Solano players in a three-set thriller. Casungcad and Cabacungan lost the opening set 18–21 but showed resilience to win the match 2–1. They prevailed in the next two sets with scores of 21-16 and 21-18, respectively.
With their strong record, Casungcad and Cabacungan are now confirmed to play for the championship title.

TABLE TENNIS DOUBLES MEN (SHS) | PINEDA AND RIVERA CLINCH FINALS SPOT
Malik Pineda and Bryan Rivera clinched a spot in the Senior High School Men's Doubles Table Tennis finals after a strong performance on November 7, 2025, at TAPS Santiago Campus.
The duo secured their necessary win against TAPS Cauayan, defeating them 2-0 (Set 1: 11-8, Set 2: 12-10). While they fell 0-2 (Set 1: 1-11, Set 2: 10-12) to TAPS Alicia in their second match, their victory was sufficient to advance them to the championship round.
