We take immense pride in celebrating the 2 RSASHSians who successfully scaled the heights of the UPCAT 2026!

Passing the UPCAT 2026 is no ordinary achievement - with only 12% of more than 147,000 applicants admitted, these students have distinguished themselves among the nation’s most exceptional.

Through discipline, perseverance, and excellence, they have secured their place in the country’s premier state university - bringing pride to the entire RSASHS community.

Not all endings are loud - some simply refuse to leave.

Today, the Grade 12 learners of Roxas Stand-Alone Senior High School step beyond the halls that once held their uncertainties, their joys, and their becoming. Each step forward carries stories untold - of silent struggles, unseen sacrifices, and courage that grew in the shadows of doubt.

They are not the same students who once walked in with hesitant dreams.
They are something braver now -
shaped, tested, and still standing.

What was once unfamiliar turned into belonging.
What began as separate paths intertwined into something worth remembering.

And perhaps that is why today feels so heavy -
because every goodbye carries a memory that refuses to fade,
and every ending trembles under the weight of a beginning we once dared to dream.

The music played, the beat was shared, and somewhere between the steps and the laughter, we all felt it — the quiet ache of letting go of the writers who poured their souls into every word, every story, every page that made us proud.

This is a bittersweet goodbye to the student-journos who made The Viga Leaf more than just a publication. They made it matter.

To our writers who are about to graduate, thank you for every word you wrote, every deadline you chased, and every story you told with heart.

The Viga Leaf will never forget the mark you left on its pages. 💗
