By God’s grace, 21 out of 30 applicants have successfully passed The Echoes screening process.

We praise God for the talents, passion, and opportunities He has entrusted to each aspiring journalist. To those who passed, may you use your gifts to inform, inspire, and honor Him through truthful and responsible journalism. To those who were not selected this time, remember that God’s plans for you remain good, and this result does not define your worth or potential.

As we begin this journey, may we always seek to be voices of truth, integrity, and service for His glory.

The Echoes, the official school publication of RSDA Academy Inc., conducted its Screening Day on June 22 to identify and recruit new journalism enthusiasts who wish to become part of the publication.

The activity was led by The Echoes Adviser, Mr. Cedie Boy Cawaling, with the assistance of the newly appointed Editorial Head Staff.

Aspiring campus journalists underwent a pen-and-paper examination followed by an interview as part of the screening process. The assessment aimed to evaluate the applicants’ writing skills, communication abilities, and readiness to become members of the publication.

Students from different grade levels attended the screening, expressing their interest in journalism and their desire to contribute to the school publication.

The screening is part of The Echoes’ recruitment process for School Year 2026–2027 as it continues to strengthen its commitment to responsible campus journalism and student engagement.

The results of the screening are expected to be released on June 23.
